The first time, they told me to replace the entire screen assembly. I didn’t think much of it then, but later I found out from other shops in Sim Lim Square that only the front glass could have been replaced at a much lower cost. The second repair was done in Aug 2025. By Mar 2026, the screen stopped working again. When I brought it back, they said it was out of warranty (only 1 month coverage) and quoted me $800+ to replace the whole screen again. I decided to get a second opinion at Sim Lim Square. The technician there said the issue could be fixed by replacing just the front screen (more labor-intensive, so not every shop does it). They also found that some screws from the previous repair weren’t installed properly, and a sharp edge had damaged the internal cable, causing the failure. Honestly, this reflects poorly on the shop — seems like they prefer doing less work for higher profit rather than proper repairs. I wouldn’t recommend this place. You’re better off going to Sim Lim Square where there are more options and better pricing.

JJ is the best! Been here to fix my phone a few times due to the abuse my kids put it through. He will tell you the options, fixes it swiftly and always offers a reasonable price.
