Had a fantastic experience at Bonding Kitchen! The service was truly exceptional. The staff made everyone feel welcome and went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. The food was just as impressive as our previous visits — authentic, flavoursome and beautifully prepared with quality ingredients. Highly recommend Bonding Kitchen if you’re looking for great food and equally great hospitality. Will definitely be back!
The food is da bomb! Get the recommended ayam buah keluak. No regrets! I tried the sayur Kang Kong and the Assam fish. So shiok coz the chef didn't dumb down the 🌶️ level, and it's the Msian level of spiciness that I love! Belacan in the Kang Kong is super authentic. Nogh hiang is pretty nice.. different from your usual flair. Kueh pie tee... not bad but can give it a miss. Am I coming back? Hell yes! 👍👍👍
Fairly new restaurant in Orchards. Chef is a popular figure in Singapore and if you want to taste a fusion Malaysian dishes that are modernized, this is a good restaurant to try. Atmosphere is decent, modern. The level of service will vary depending on server, but generally very friendly and kind to customers. I think we had one order that didn't register in on time so we had to ask the server to double check. Came to find out one order didn't get in. So we ended up stopping the meal and wait for the last dish to be made (took only 7 mins so it wasn't the worst). I think it would be good for the servers to be more attentive to all customers in general. They were super kind though. The food quality was good! I would come back here again.
Very nice Peranakan food in Orchard Gateway. We ordered set for 4 and everyone overeat. Delicious wagyu rendang and chapchye and Ayam buat keluK and the grilled sotong were all yummy. We finished the meal with panne cotta and chendol dessert. Yummy and over ate!
This is one of the most memorable Peranakan meals I’ve had in recent times. Every single dish was good - from the otah, , kuih pie tee, wagyu beef rendang, Babi pongteh (braised pork belly), Assam fish, chendol & curry chicken (we loved the curry potatoes!) But the one dish that really blew our mind was the pong tauhu soup - a prawn stock soup that had the most amazingly tender pork ball. It was so good, we felt it reminded us of a lobster bisque and we’ll go back just for it.
