Excellent service and setting for a meal, we were lucky enough to get a spot on the balcony with a great view. Staff turned on the heaters when it got cooler in the evening. The food was a bit disappointing for the price. While there was attention to detail with the plating up and presentation, the dishes could have been more flavoursome. Highlights were the garlic bread, salmon tartare and chocolate fondant cake. Mains were not outstanding but good. Staff were great though, and happy for us to take our time.

Exceptional dining experience at Boardwalk Queenstown! We had a fantastic meal at Boardwalk Queenstown. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish beautifully presented and full of flavour. The oysters were fresh and perfectly prepared, and the fish main was cooked to perfection, accompanied by fresh vegetables and a rich, creamy sauce. What really stood out was the excellent service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout the entire evening. They made sure everything was perfect without being intrusive, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining atmosphere. A wonderful restaurant with outstanding food, professional service, and a great ambience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Queenstown—we'll definitely be back!

I can't decide what I'd rate higher, the views, the food or the service. It was all impeccable! Almost every seat in the restaurant has some sort of view of the lake. The staff were wonderful. The service was quick, 100% correct and always with a smile. They checked on us regularly so we never needed to flag someone, if we wanted a drink or our next course of food. The food, well that deserves 5 stars all on its own from starters to mains to dessert. Great portions, incredible flavours and all cooked to perfection.

The waitress who served us was so attentive and friendly. All dishes we ordered were great apart from my fish was cold, I could see that my fish was on hold for long while they cook the other dish on my table. Just need more smile from the front counter, and they did not know where we sat when I made a payment even if it was not that busy.

This is another favorite location in Queenstown - the food was wonderful! I loved the setting with views of the lake. I had a cute little table on a balcony overlooking the beautiful lake and it could not have been a more beautiful evening.
