This 85 soup is actually from block 85, bedok there. This is homecook style soup which I believe is Cantonese style. The ABC is very delicious, you can taste the sweet from the corn itself, not those 味精汤。 Thier chicken pig organ soup is delicious as well. It's peppery level is acceptable for both m'sia n s'pore taste I highly recommend people come to drink soup from this stall

fruit juice and dry mee hoon kueh flavour was on point with a touch of homeliness. avocado fruit juice came in large size for $3.50 and apple yakult was $3. came around 6pm and there was barely any crowd which is good. did not manage to try the other stalls famous here as they were close but hope they will reopen soon!

You'll find a variety of excellent, long-standing day and night stalls at the Toa Payoh Lorong 5 hawker centre. Be sure to try the popular fishball noodles and ban mian. Since the primary clientele is elderly that stay around the area, the prices are refreshingly reasonable. Some stalls also only accept cash. The one key issue is its location; it's quite a walk from the main Toa Payoh MRT station, so it's much easier to visit if you drive. Ample parking is available in the carpark right next door.
