Jan 2026: huge shop with multiple levels. Liked the level 1 beat as it had various Jalan souvenirs that I have not seen elsewhere. Liked the 2026 calendar but it was sold out unfortunately.

I found "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Styled" in Shinjuku. I went into BEAMS JAPAN looking for a jacket, but I ended up facing the Dark Lord himself. The staff here is so talented they don’t just sell clothes—they cast spells! His Voldemort impression was 10/10 and honestly more intimidating than the actual movies. If you want a shopping experience that’s truly magical (and slightly terrifying), you have to find this guy. 100% would let him 'Avada Kedavra' my wallet again. Please find Shiiki-san!

Such a great store!! This is the place to find extremely high quality and wonderful souvenirs. There’s a huge array of authentic Japanese products such as soaps, knives, clothing, small gifts, sunglasses and more. The staff was extremely friendly, especially Hayato! I highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Japan

BEAMS is such a hip store with a nicely curated selection. We were shopping for sneakers and I loved that this department was playing San Francisco Bay Area rap music the whole time. Was fun and completely unexpected! My partner and I wanted to try several different styles and sizes of shoes, and Uchida-san was very helpful and accommodating. She even entertained our toddler and made it a fun shopping experience for her as well. Will definitely come back and explore other departments as well!

In this store, I enjoyed the third floor with its elegant and quaint selection of craftsmen porcelain the most. There was a small earth tone plate with a deep blue glass center that looked fascinating the first time I set my eyes upon it. I knew I wanted it, but I just couldn’t figure out the use. I had a helpful conversation with the employees about this, and I decided I could use this plate as a candle holder. Please give the employees a raise, they were the most helpful strangers I met in my entire trip to Japan. I was here 1/4/2026 at around 6:30 pm.
