"Donkey and I were excited to try A Hot Hideout at Cineleisure Orchard, especially after seeing all the great reviews! We wanted to see if the hype was real. The restaurant is gorgeous – super modern and a great place to snap some pictures. The Mala Collagen Soup (we went with the less spicy option) was really tasty, and the deep-fried ingredients added a great crunch! The soup was so flavorful we finished the whole bowl! The ice milk tea is seriously good, you have to try it. However, the service was a bit of a letdown. The staff seemed to be mostly students, and the whole queuing process was confusing and disorganized. We weren't sure if we should seat ourselves or order first, even though there were empty tables. It would have been so much nicer if someone had shown us to a table, especially with the queue! Overall, A Hot Hideout has delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere, but they really need to work on improving their service and making the queuing process smoother. Because of the service issues, I'm giving it 4 stars." Rating: 4 stars • Food: 4.5/5 • Atmosphere: 4.5/5 • Service: 2.5/5

Had a great experience at Hothideout in Cineleisure. The food was really flavourful and satisfying, especially if you enjoy bold, spicy dishes. You can customise your meal, which makes it fun to mix and match based on your own preference. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were quite generous for the price. It’s definitely a good spot if you’re looking for something hearty and filling. The vibe is casual and lively, perfect for hanging out with friends or a chill meal after shopping. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Overall, a solid place to satisfy your mala cravings. Will come back again!

It’s my first time at A Hot Hideout and I must say I’m quite impressed! No wonder they’re so popular! Their mala collagen soup base is rly fantastic! Rich, flavorful, not too spicy or numbing. The best one I’ve had so far in Singapore compared to other brands. Recommend for first timers! Ingredients wise they have a wide selection! What’s unique is that they have several items which will be deep fried by default (you can opt for not fried), and also scrambled eggs! I highly recommend trying the scrambled eggs as they’re so creamy and rly complements the spicy dish well! The fried items are slightly oily but tasty, I’ll recommend it if you are sharing - I went alone so it was too much for me. There’s a simple condiments counter, but they have their special spicy powder for the fried stuffs and also special peanut sauce which were all rly good! Overall, an enjoyable meal experience here. Definitely recommend! Price wise it’s rly reasonable! Comparable to other places at $2.88/100g. Do control and not get too greedy like me and over order 😂

Always a long queue on Friday evenings, but everything was handled very systematically. Waited slightly less than 30mins for a seat, then queued for food, then waited for food. Always consistence in the mala soup base, mad love their scrambled eggs and fried lotus chips. Especially love their condiments, good peanuty sauce and secret chilli powder, absolutely sinful but it is the SOUL!! I don't think I have tried any malatang in SG that beats hot hideout!! So much love and almost tried all their outlets including the newly opened Lentor Modern branch.

Had dinner with my family at another AHH outlet today, and as always, the food was excellent. The ingredients were fresh, the soup base was rich and flavorful—not the kind that relies on MSG. The service was great and very attentive, especially SuSuan, who made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back again!
