Electronics heaven and one of the best places to shop in Japan. Picked up my iPhone here and saved almost ¥70,000 compared to the price back home. Definitely worth checking out for gadgets and tech deals. 📱✨🇯🇵
The best electronic shop in Japan. Wheel chair friendly access and the electronics are easily accessible with trial mode and ready to purchase. They accept no-tax benefit for the foreign tourists. The rate is comparatively cheaper compared to the global rates and we purchased an Iphone and a speaker which saved at least 60-80k Yen. They are obviously customer friendly and behave very nicely. Overall a nice place and easily accessible by road.
At the 2nd floor checkout counter, please try to avoid the staff member named Sato Yusuke if possible. He spoke to me very aggressively, saying things like “Wait here,” “Don’t move,” and “Show me your passport.” His tone was very rude and uncomfortable. Because of this, I no longer wanted him to assist me. Thankfully, Miura-san, who had kindly helped me with a preorder on a previous visit, came over and asked if I needed help. As soon as Miura-san arrived, Sato immediately changed his attitude and started acting polite. During the checkout process, I told Sato that he should improve his English communication skills because the way he spoke was not polite. He ignored my comment completely. In fact, whenever I asked him questions, even in Japanese, he ignored me, so I had to ask Miura-san instead. Yodobashi Camera, please train your staff better, especially when dealing with international customers. Thank you very much, Miura-san, for your kindness and professionalism.
A Tech Lover’s Paradise! I visited multiple Yodobashi Camera stores across Japan, and each one blew me away! My first stop was the Sapporo branch, which I assumed would be smaller since it’s outside Tokyo — but it was massive, packed with everything from cameras and lenses to gaming gear and home appliances.
Service mind or service oriented of staff in this branch is less than standard when compare to others branches or big camera. Some staff answer in differences or without really checking their stocks. you need to check or asking many staff to get the right answer. Especially staff at Apple Store on the first floor, he looks like need to go back home all the time or do something busy for not being talked to. Do not ask him for stocks, he will give you the quick answer that all sold out without checking, ask others staff will get the real check answer.
