Had a great time here. Food was served quickly. Excellent service especially from Wen. Will certainly return. Parking is the biggest hurdle though
Exceptional Gastronomy in a Garden Dome! We booked the Garden Dome at Wildseed Bar to celebrate my wife’s birthday a week early, and it was a fantastic experience. The Atlantic Cod dinner set was the highlight. A huge compliment to Chef Wendy for the excellent presentation! The cod was a thick, generous portion served with asparagus. It was perfectly cooked—thoroughly done yet incredibly moist on the inside, well-seasoned, and paired beautifully with the purée. Other standouts included: • The Burratina: Served with sweet cherry tomatoes and a thin, crispy slice of San Daniele. • Seafood: The Lobster Bisque and Scampi Tartar went very well together, and the Pan-Seared Scallops with king mushrooms were cooked to perfection. Service & Ambience: The Garden Dome provided a beautiful, private backdrop for our celebration. What truly elevated the night was the service—the staff were attentive and professional, checking in on us at just the right moments to ensure we were well-looked-after without ever disrupting our private conversation. Overall Verdict If you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, Wildseed Bar delivers on both flavor and atmosphere. A big thank you to Chef Wendy and the front-of-house team for making my wife’s pre-birthday dinner so special!
We were looking forward to a nice chilled out dinner with the band and great environment. However, we ordered starters and mains, specifying which was which, but everything came out at once, which was really disappointing, so we complained, but they just said we didn't explain clearly, so that was that! This meant we could either gobble all our food down quickly or let it go cold. So, we finished it quickly, and then rather than hanging around, we asked for the bill. This is then when they tried to charge us $40 for a pint of beer. Lucky we checked the bill before paying. We thought they were ripping us off. However, it now seems that their HH is $40 for *3* pints. However, when we first arrived, I asked and was told Heineken was on happy hour, so ordered one, but was not told this was a deal for 3 pints (which is unusual, right?) and I had not checked the menu as I had already asked the waiter. After we challenged this, we ended up paying full price for a pint, which is clear now, but was not clear at the time. All of these problems come down to poor communication, which is a pity as it was a poor experience for a high price. The food was nice though. If you must go here, my advice would be explain everything clearly, double check what they tell you, order starters and mains separately, check the deals with the staff when ordering, etc. However, all of this is stuff that might not need to be explained elsewhere....so better go somewhere else and have a stress free evening 👍👍😉
Thank you Isaac. The long island is too good and really enjoyed the ambiance. Lovely service. Slushy of the day watermelon gin is top notched..
Great place to chill at the end of the day. Service staff like Prisca is very pleasant and helpful. Second time visit. Love their food, they recently added Satay to their menu and we tried the beef satay - was tasty, would definitely have it again. However, must say the satay pieces can be bigger. A good place to enjoy a family meal!
