We hired Whello for a 9-month SEO engagement based on their own prognosis, which promised a significant increase in traffic and visibility for our business. What we received instead was a steady decline in keyword rankings, lack of meaningful results, and vague reporting. Despite our repeated efforts to align the work with agreed expectations, Whello failed to deliver on their own commitments. Their so-called “Q2 improvement plan” was, frankly, a joke — proposing just 7 extra leads in return for over €6,000 worth of remaining work. This is nowhere near what was forecasted in the initial plan, and offers no return on investment. It shows a lack of understanding of both performance accountability and business impact. What’s worse is that we paid up front, yet when we asked for a refund for unused hours (after clearly pausing the project and receiving no delivery), they refused — despite no measurable output and clear evidence that expectations were not met. If you care about actual delivery, ROI, and professionalism, look elsewhere. Whello may offer polished proposals, but when it comes to performance and accountability, they simply don’t deliver.
