West Legend Seafood Restaurant

Restaurant is currently having the 2 crabs for $68 offer which is really a good catch! Big and fresh! We are glad that we ordered 4 crabs, 2 chili and 2 black pepper, it was so good. The beancurd was superb too. Thankfully that it’s aircon environment too. For parking, you can drive up straight to the restaurant (level6) and park right outside. Additional perks include complimentary 寿桃 for birthday celebration.

The food was generally good, though the location is quite obscure. We honestly wonder how they manage to survive there. Hopefully more people will come by and support them. The only slight disappointment was the crabs, which didn’t feel very fresh or may have been a little overcooked, as the flesh stuck to the shell. That said, the flavour was still spot on.

Came here for lunch on Mother’s Day 💐💞 Black pepper crabs were a decent size for its price point (2 crabs for $55) 🦀 It’s not too peppery and has a subtle sweetness from the garlic 🧄 Salted egg chicken was not too salty and was super good ! Portion size is a bit small and lacking in my opinion but nothing unreasonable 🍗 Kai lan was flavourful and not bitter or too salty. 🥬 Hotplate tofu was also good. Overall all the dishes were well executed 👍🏻 Service was particularly slow today though (I think my family waited close to an hour for all out dishes to arrive), but the staff were friendly and apologetic :) All in all, it’s a nice place to eat quality tze char food in. Prices are very reasonable for no GST or service charge charged at the end of the bill. I would come back to dine in here with my family again 😄

We visited to try the chilli crab promotion (2 for $68). Upon entering the private room, there was a slightly musty smell, possibly from the carpet, though it became less noticeable after a while. We ordered a variety of dishes, which were generally average. The crab size was about average and not overly small. However, some portions of the crab meat were limited and slightly dry, which may be due to the condition of the crab or the preparation. That said, the chilli gravy was quite enjoyable, and we were pleased that one of the crabs had roe. Overall, I would still recommend giving this place a try, as taste preferences differ and others may enjoy the experience more than we did.
