Dining at Wenzhou Mansion was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Tucked along Tanjong Pagar, this restaurant offers something truly unique in Singapore’s dining scene — a refined showcase of authentic Wenzhou cuisine that is both elegant and memorable. What stood out immediately was the delicacy and balance of flavours. Unlike heavier Chinese cuisines, the dishes here are light, clean, and incredibly nuanced, allowing the natural freshness of the ingredients — especially the seafood — to shine through. There were several absolute standouts. The marinated crab is a heavenly must-eat, bursting with freshness and umami. The signature yellow fish was equally impressive — rich, flavourful, and perfectly executed. The char siew and the shrimp with coriander are also must-haves, each dish showcasing finesse and depth despite their apparent simplicity. The ambience elevates the entire experience — spacious, tastefully designed, and perfect for both business dining and special occasions. Service truly sets this place apart. Restaurant manager Alice is exceptional, delivering service that goes well beyond expectations — attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to ensuring every guest has a fantastic experience. While prices are on the premium side, the quality, authenticity, and overall experience more than justify it. If you’re looking to explore something beyond the usual Cantonese or Sichuan options, Wenzhou Mansion is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended — a standout destination for refined Chinese dining in Singapore

It’s rare to find Zhejiang food/restaurants here in Singapore. First time trying out. Love most of the dishes that we ordered with the help of the manager Ms. Alice. Shredded chicken with jelly fish is tasty, it’s like the Hakka salt bake chicken. Kanto sea cucumber is very refreshing come with sour/vinegar taste. Chilled sea shell is very flavorful. Four kind appetizer’s duck tongue is soft and flavorful and fish cake is nice. Wenzhou fish ball & pork wanton soup is a must try. Baby duck with pappercorn is another must try. Crispy skin with juicy meat. Wenzhou style stir-fried rice noodles is another specialty. Plenty of wok hei and the noodle has some very special texture. Overall very good experience, will come back to try other dish.

Really good food. Very nostalgic for me as my grandma was from Wenzhou and had made her version of some of the dishes. The quality of the dishes, service and down to the toothpick and napkin is amazing. Definitely a fine dining experience. Will be back.

Excellent food, was not expecting that along Tanjong Pagar For the price point ($500) for two , expect a semi-casual crowd. Service is attentive but catering to an expat community area, not speaking good English is an issue. Menu in English so you can get around it… but don’t expect explanations of dishes if you have questions because servers are all mandarin speakers so that I feel is a let down for the price point.

Surprisingly nice place. They gave us a private room on the 2nd floor and it was spacious and cozy. Service was very good and attentive. Food was very decent too. I am no expert of Wenzhou food but every dish was pretty well received by my friends. Will definitely come back.
