I had a very disappointing experience with Webrange Solutions. I was shortlisted and invited for an HR Manager interview, and I traveled all the way from Sargodha at my own expense for this opportunity. After reaching and investing my time and money, I was informed that the position was only for female candidates, something that was never mentioned in the job posting on Indeed or in any prior communication. This is extremely unprofessional and unethical recruitment behavior. If a role is gender-specific, it should be clearly stated in the job advertisement before shortlisting candidates. Inviting someone and then rejecting them due to an undisclosed gender requirement shows poor internal coordination and lack of respect for candidates’ time and resources. Companies should value transparency and professionalism. I strongly suggest they improve their hiring process to prevent others from facing the same inconvenience and financial loss.
