We had a great experience with Webelephant. We started with Google Ads and were supported by Iris. We had a meeting every day to update us on what had been done and what we still needed to do. All tasks and appointments were neatly tracked in the Monday dashboard. Webelephant's staff adhered closely to the schedule, and all tasks were completed on time. We then added email marketing to Webelephant's services. Webelephant set up Klaviyo for this. We wrote the emails ourselves and immediately saw excellent results, which are still improving. Now we're moving on to the next project...

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with them. At other marketing agencies, we always received clear insight into what was being done for us, and this was substantiated. This is in contrast to this firm, which seems to be just winging it. If you ask to speak to the marketer, you are told that this is not possible because they are external (meaning not someone from the team itself, but hired elsewhere). That is quite meager for an agency you hire for their so-called marketing specialization. During our collaboration, we noticed several times that the people at Webelephant are incapable of taking an honest look at themselves. That is a shame; we really didn't get a good feeling from it right from the start. However, the contract had already been signed, and it is not easy to get out of it now. So don't just jump into it without thinking.

Since 2007, we at Bouwbestel.nl have worked satisfactorily with a number of agencies. However, our experience with Webelephant stands in stark, negative contrast to this. The collaboration did not get off to a good start, as they placed incorrect code on our live site, preventing orders from being placed. Additionally, we clearly set a number of basic conditions for the partnership beforehand. These included regular direct contact with a dedicated, experienced SEA specialist working on our account. You would think that's not asking too much... However, Webelephant did not adhere to this. Despite recurring promises, an unknown person (a freelancer?) eventually tinkered with our account for a few hours a month. There was no contact with them. The actions we could read back were also insignificant. Ultimately, our trust in a solid partnership with Webelephant simply vanished completely. As a result, we were unfortunately forced to seek another solution to prevent things from getting worse. We have (once again) communicated this to Webelephant in a polite and detailed manner. We also made a more than generous buyout offer. This, incidentally, after the initial promise that one month's continued payment upon termination would always be acceptable in practice was also not honored by Webelephant. It subsequently struck us very much that during our attempts to reach a compromise, Webelephant did not look in the mirror at all. To our surprise, one of the owners was willing to make a decent offer if we were to get involved in a conflict with a former employee??? We now refer to this particular owner as the “Webelifant in the china shop.” And naturally, we declined this very strange offer, if only on principle. So, in the meantime, we are simply paying out our full contract. In summary: based on our experience, the customer is not at all the focus at Webelephant. Oh yes, and they refuse to disconnect our(!) GA4 account from theirs. Update: We have since received a legal cease and desist order from Webelephant for the immediate removal of the review. So think twice before doing business with Webelephant. We are very satisfied with the collaboration with and the effectiveness of Webelephant. We do business with Webelephant to be found more easily on the internet, and this is working very well; they are therefore making a real contribution to our revenue. In addition, they (Jennifer, Bernd, and Iris) are pleasant to work with and creative when it comes to devising campaigns and writing copy.

We started with Webelephant just before the coronavirus pandemic and have been incredibly helpful with their advice and support. They're always proactive, and it's more of a collaborative effort than just us outsourcing everything. The collaboration is fantastic and has significantly increased our online store's growth in recent years. We definitely recommend Webelephant!
