I'm giving one star because I can't give zero. Beware of this man (Laurent) from webandview. He scammed me out of my money. I posted an ad on the Bark platform and described my project very clearly. This Mr. Laurent contacted me repeatedly, each time with the same argument: "You're with the best." I showed him my reference site and specified that I wanted meticulous, professional work with a result close to that of the reference site. I was in China meeting with my suppliers when I received his call again. During this conversation, I asked him, as before, if he was capable of meeting my expectations and creating a website in the hair care sector. He replied, "Yes, I'm the best," so I decided to trust him. But very quickly, I realized he hadn't understood my project at all. To begin with, the mockup was delivered in 5 days without even bothering to ask me beforehand who the target audience was. He delivered a mockup completely unrelated to my target audience, and as a result, we were forced to redo everything from scratch—a huge waste of time. I found myself having to imagine the aesthetics of a website from A to Z, even though that's precisely why I hired him. He's incapable of creating an aesthetic or design that meets the standards of wig websites. I realized he hadn't even bothered to do the bare minimum of research. I gave him a price list, and all the prices included were wrong. He refuses to make the changes and says it's up to me, even though the error is his. He doesn't take into account the changes we've discussed together, and he does things a few hours before meetings. The result is always sloppy, incomplete work, which forces us to endlessly revisit the same things we've already seen instead of moving the project forward. This Mr. Laurent is incapable of self-reflection. It was agreed that he would modify some videos and photos, but in the end, only two photos were modified; he never touched the others. He then said it was too much work for him. He was supposed to provide me with photos if I didn't have any in time to move the project forward, but he didn't provide anything at all. His photos weren't even related to my project. In short, all of this created real frustration because I could see that my project wasn't progressing, that he refused to give it much attention, and that the work was sloppy. I therefore demanded a refund and the termination of the contract since, in any case, the work was not of high quality and did not meet the sales promises. He terminated the contract and said he wouldn't refund the deposit of €1100 plus the first two monthly payments of €286, followed by threats to file a defamation lawsuit if I publicly discuss my experience with him on review platforms. This man scammed me out of my money. He takes on projects he knows he can't complete, and if you're not satisfied, he won't refund your money. He's a charlatan, beware! ⚠️ ⚠️ He makes lots and lots of empty promises, and the work is mediocre. If you dare question his work, he blocks your access to the site. Before canceling the contract, he blocked access to the site. His contract states that in case of cancellation, they keep 30% of the deposit. However, they kept the entire amount paid. He doesn't even respect the contracts he makes clients sign. It's truly unbelievable. I'm going to report his practices to Bark and sue him for fraud! I absolutely do not recommend this man; he's a crook. He accepts every ad that comes his way to inflate his revenue, even though he's incapable of fulfilling them. Do ⚠️

This is my response to the misleading reply from "Webandview": he claims the price lists I provided were incorrect, which is completely false. I gave him a price list, and all the prices were correct, but he entered random entries, and some prices weren't even in the list. He included VAT in the prices, even though I'm a micro-entrepreneur and I don't charge VAT to my clients. I asked him to change the prices because he completely messed them up, but he refused, claiming, as he just did again, that it's up to me to change the prices because, according to him, he did the work! Unbelievable! He was just too lazy to correct his own mistakes regarding the design. He delivered a "temple" he'd rushed out in 5 days with AI, without ever bothering to discuss the target clientele, aesthetics, or anything with me beforehand. He just did his thing quickly on his end. I never approved the design. He himself told me he'd made an example like that, but that we'd make the necessary changes. Except the changes were a disaster. He pretends to take notes and does things 2 or 3 hours before each appointment, so naturally the work is always sloppy and we have to endlessly repeat the same explanations... It's hell with this guy. He's dishonest, incapable of questioning himself. He's a charlatan. Be very careful. He himself claims to have kept the entire deposit for the time he spent on my project, even though I had clearly told him for several days to stop working on the site and that I wanted to terminate the contract. But he insisted on continuing the charade. A true, serious professional respects their commitments and the contracts they have their clients sign. If you have money and energy to waste, hire him; otherwise, turn to serious people. Don't trust his smooth talk; you'll see for yourself that this Mr. Laurent Webandview is not at all reliable. My experience with him was a fiasco: wasted money, wasted time, project never delivered, but he kept the entire deposit. He has absolutely no respect for his own contracts. A complete sham! Stay away!
