In 2019, we tried to implement our live event, Speechless, with the company Vibrand Media. The owner, who at the time drove a Lamborghini, gave us high hopes for a successful collaboration. After paying them €32,000 for their strategy, they began trying to sell tickets for our new speaker live event. After three months, Vibrand Media managed to sell a grand total of one out of the 800 tickets they had targeted. When we asked if we could get a refund, the owner replied that we had simply had bad luck. His explanation for why his online marketing strategy hadn't worked was that he and his team had underestimated the fact that our format was a new and unknown format. Looking back, I consider the support we received at that time to be the biggest disappointment ever. I unfortunately cannot recommend this company at all, because the decision-makers there couldn't have been more ethical. These days, I often tell this story as a warning to entrepreneurs, so that no one else suffers such a setback. Happy ending: Four weeks before the event, we decided to organize it ourselves and managed to bring an incredible 600 guests to the musical theater by successfully implementing our speaker event.
