We had a very pleasant experience with Urban Heroes! From the very beginning, we sat down with them extensively to get acquainted and explain the company. It was remarkable how they were able to get to the heart of the organization during this conversation. They immediately understood who we are and what we stand for with the company. The communication has been excellent: friendly, engaged, and always proactive. They also have extensive knowledge and expertise, which is clearly evident in their advice and approach! They developed several concepts for us, giving us a good and comprehensive overview of the various possibilities. The proposals are well-thought-out, creative, and perfectly match our wishes and identity. We are enthusiastic about the further development of our collaboration and are confident that it will result in a strong and fitting end result!

A few months ago, we discovered that our website and social media presence were in dire need of improvement. This was a pressing issue because ticket sales had declined significantly over the years, and we honestly didn't know where to begin. (We don't have many millennials or Gen Zers in our group.) Urban Heroes opened our eyes to the possibilities and provided excellent guidance on how to increase our visibility. They communicate clearly and meticulously, deliver excellent work, and truly understand our club's strengths. They don't just pull off-the-shelf solutions; they really sit down and devise something that perfectly suits us. It's actually a shame it's over now, because it was a great journey, and we're not only very happy with the result but also thoroughly enjoyed working with them.

Urban Heroes is voor ons een vaste partner voor de volledige breedte van hun dienstverlening, namelijk op het gebied van marketing, development, design en strategie. Binnen het team heeft ieder zijn eigen expertise en kunnen we met veel verschillende vraagstukken bij hen terecht. Door de korte lijnen kunnen we vaak snel schakelen en doorpakken. Voor ons als opleider is het prettig om een partner te hebben die niet alleen uitvoert, maar ook strategisch meedenkt en ontzorgt.

In May 2025, we began a collaboration with Urban Heroes to develop a logo, packaging design, and web design. While the final creative result is satisfactory, we look back on the process and project management with great dissatisfaction. The start was difficult. The first delivery (logo) didn't take place until August 4th, which was already 3 to 4 weeks later than promised. While the initial impression of the design was positive, the schedule then spiraled out of control. On August 20th, we were promised that the remaining work would be picked up in week 37. Only 18 days after that promised start date did we learn that this hadn't happened due to a miscommunication regarding the delivery of documents. What particularly bothered us was the response to our dissatisfaction. After an email on September 19th about the poor communication, there was silence. When we contacted the agency ourselves by phone on September 24th, we found the agency's attitude to be unsympathetic to our situation. Shortly thereafter, we received a new date for the packaging design (week 42), meaning there were 10 weeks between feedbacks. The web design hadn't even been scheduled yet. When the web design was finally scheduled for week 46, our project had already been running for 25 weeks. When we requested to move it forward due to the long wait, we were only told that other clients had priority and we couldn't be moved forward. To our surprise, the webshop design was delivered in a version that was only compatible with desktops. In the current market (and according to general standards), we assumed a responsive design (mobile and desktop). After another difficult discussion, this was finally corrected, and the mobile design was also delivered. In summary, Urban Heroes delivers reasonable to good quality work. However, communication from project management is very difficult, agreements are systematically missed, and the lead time is excessively long without any apology or suitable solution. We would not recommend Urban Heroes for a business partner in a process where speed and communication are essential.

Very satisfied with the collaboration with Urban Heroes. They listen attentively, quickly extract the essence of our questions, and translate that into a clear proposal. In a short time, they deliver value and take concrete steps towards the agreed goal. Communication is pleasant, lines of communication are short, and agreements are honored. Additionally, they possess extensive expertise and a strong network of partners. In short: an expert partner and a great collaboration.
