Had such an enjoyable dining experience here! The dishes were beautifully presented and packed with flavour. The peking duck was definitely a highlight — crispy skin, tender meat, and perfectly roasted. The deep-fried whitebait was super addictive, light and crispy with just the right seasoning. The claypot prawns with glass noodles were also incredibly fragrant and soaked up all the rich flavours beautifully. Service was attentive and the ambience felt cosy and comfortable, perfect for a good meal and catch-up. Definitely a place I’d revisit again. Highly recommend!
29-May-2026 (Fri) Not crowded at all on a weekend evening. Had the A La Carte Deluxe Buffet. Food selection not alot but all ordered dishes were freshly cooked and were very tasty too. One of our favourites was the "Crispy Fish Skin with Salted Egg Yolk" which we ordered multiple times! The desserts were nice and yummy too!
The food is undeniably good, and the fact that there were already customers before 6pm says a lot. For a group of seven, our bill came up to around $500. At that price point, expectations for both quality and value are high but thankfully, they do (almost) match. We enjoyed almost every dish, with the exception of the salted egg crab. This was a bit surprising, as it lacked sauce and flavour. The crab was heavily deep-fried, causing most of the sauce to stick to the shell, so you don’t really get to taste much of it. We would have preferred a creamier, more flavourful sauce that better complements the crab. What made it more disappointing was that the crab, despite being the first dish we ordered, was the last to arrive, taking about 1.5 hours. We were not sure what caused the delay, but both the wait and the taste fell short of expectations. Otherwise, this restaurant would easily deserve a 5-star rating, and we hope they can improve on this aspect. The staff were generally very attentive. However, there was one instance where a staff member raised their voice at another in front of customers, which felt unprofessional. An interesting aspect of this restaurant is its dual concept, it operates as both a Chinese and Japanese restaurant. This makes it a great option for families or groups with mixed preferences, as you can satisfy different cravings all in one place.
Food was delicious as usual and service was excellent. Ms Seiko and her team of servers were very attentive and helpful with the menu. They also helped with a birthday cake and photos. Would highly recommend this place for the relaxed vibes and top-notch service, especially for large families.
