Organized and a nice lil video game/trading card game shop!
It's located on the second floor of a building across the pedestrian bridge from Oppama Station. The interior is beautiful. The corridor side is glass-walled, creating an open feel. DVDs are easy to find, and rental fees are low. I recently learned that prices vary by TSUTAYA store (I found out the prices at the Kawasaki store). While you can watch movies online, I tend to binge watch, so I prefer to rent. I return them by mail. I look forward to finding my favorite "ex-rental" titles. //September 2022 Bandai Gashapon machines have appeared in the space that was previously the game corner. //2023 Rental fees and return shipping fees have increased. CDs have been moved, and a space for trading card games has been created. When I stopped by in the evening, it was bustling with students. It's nice to have such a lively atmosphere!
I visited on May 9th, 2024... They had a lottery catcher, a trading card catcher, a 2000 yen gacha machine, and a Carino (key-grabbing game) installed. They also had a 1000 yen change machine 💰 and a gacha machine, so it's great that they have a change machine for high-denomination bills 💴 as well. 🙇♂️
The customer service attitude is also poor. There is no management of inventory prices at all. The prices are incorrect and left as is. The part-time worker working at the register was talking behind people's backs.
The shop is easily accessible from the station via a pedestrian walkway. The interior is clean, the temperature is nice, and the dueling space is very spacious. They also host Pokémon TCG gym battles and other TCG tournaments. Inside, they have both vending machine original packs and regular original packs, but the contents are just average. You probably won't find a complete set of single cards here, but there are some inexpensive ones, so it's worth taking a look. They have 70-yen and 33-yen storage boxes, and they also stock block original packs. They have a wide variety of packs and supplies, which is great for card game enthusiasts. If I had to mention a complaint, it's that the cards are often bent due to humidity, so I think they could do something about it, like putting loaders on top of the sleeves or putting them in clear boxes. Otherwise, I have no complaints.
