Rie Mori was an absolutely incredible tour guide during our time in Tokyo. From the moment we met her, everything about the experience felt seamless. She made navigating the city and its train system so easy, and she explained the history, culture, and significance of everything we saw in a way that was clear, engaging, and genuinely fascinating. What really made Rie special was her personality. She was so entertaining and warm that by the end of the tour she honestly felt like family. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our group had the best possible experience. For example, she even took the time to find me a ramen spot that didn’t use pork broth, which I truly appreciated. She was also incredibly thoughtful in the little ways that make a big difference during a long day of touring. She brought plastic bags for our trash (which is so helpful in Tokyo where trash cans can be hard to find) and would even grab our bags to help carry things so we could relax and enjoy the experience. Rie also took fantastic photos for us throughout the day, making sure we captured so many great memories without ever feeling rushed. Her thoughtfulness, energy, and attention to detail made the entire experience unforgettable. She was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Tokyo, and I can’t recommend her enough. If you’re lucky enough to have Rie as your guide, you’re in for an amazing experience!

My wife and I have been visiting Japan almost once a year for the last 10 years. We set up our own itinerary and get around on our own. This year (2025) we decided to book a half-day tour in Kawagoe. It was our first time to Kawagoe. We were able to get OMAKASE Tour for the half-day tour. We received a message from our tour guide, Ms Kaori a day before our tour. Plans were made then to have a lunch with Unagi - a Kawagoe specialty. Kaori was nice enough to send several options and we selected a restaurant called Unagi Kobinata, a quaint but excellent selection. Once we met Kaori at the train station, we were greeted with sincere care and hospitality. From there we walked to lunch and ventured out to see many Koedo locations (Koedo/Coedo = Smaller Edo). Kaori took time to explain historical buildings including some of the oldest structures in Kawagoe. We found out that Kaori was raised in Kawagoe; which explained her knowledge and passion for the area. We learned lots of history, significance of the area, connection to Edo and many other things unique to Kawagoe. I may not remember the many details in years to come, but I will certainly remember the basic history and hospitality shared from the Kawagoe residents (Kaori especially). The tours last stop was a renovated Sake factory, now a store that sells Sake products. We learned that there are many different Sake makers in Kawagoe and were able to taste a few. There is a tasting dispensing machine that charges 500 Yen for 3 samples - you get to choose from about 30 different sake. We strongly recommend OMAKASE Tours for your travel guide needs. A special thanks to Kaori for her cheerful friendliness and knowledge of Kawagoe; we truly appreciated spending the half-day tour with her. Our future travels may now include day-tours. We see the value in it, especially OMAKASE Tours!

Chiharu at Omakase Tour is truly outstanding. We have used her services twice and will again next year. She works closely with her clients to create personalized itineraries and always provides excellent options for accommodations. Even though we are in different time zones, she responds within a day. The guides she arranges are personable, knowledgeable, and local to the areas we visited which just added to our appreciation of the cities, towns and sites.. All of the transportation was seamlessly coordinated, whether traveling by train, bus or with a private driver. Chiharu's attention to detail and thoughtful planning made our vacation unforgettable. I recommend Omakase Travel to all my friends!

We had a wonderful experience on the Tokyo Omakase Tour. Our guide was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive, making every moment enjoyable and memorable. Her explanations were clear and engaging, allowing us to appreciate Tokyo’s culture and hidden gems in a very special way. We’re truly grateful for her warmth and hospitality throughout the tour and would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tokyo. It was one of the highlights of our trip! Second tour: We had a wonderful experience on the Mt. Fuji tour. Although the mountain was shy and hid behind the clouds, the day was filled with beautiful scenery, great company, and memorable moments. Our guide was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive, making the journey smooth and enjoyable. Visiting Oshino Hakkai was especially special — it gave us a real sense of Japan’s natural beauty and culture. We truly appreciate the care and hospitality throughout the tour and would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting

We booked a full-day private tour with Eriko, and it was absolutely fantastic! She’s an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly well-prepared. Our day began with a walk past the impressive Giant Unicorn Gundam Robot, followed by a visit to the historic Sensoji Temple. We grabbed a quick lunch from 7-Eleven and enjoyed a relaxing picnic on the beautiful grounds of the Imperial Palace. In the afternoon, we strolled through the peaceful Meiji Shrine and surrounding forest, taking in the serene atmosphere. The highlight for me was experiencing the iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing—an unforgettable moment! I highly recommend Eriko to anyone looking for a personalized, insightful, and enjoyable tour experience in Tokyo.
