A cozy, quiet little bar/bistro place with a local friendliness and welcoming vibe. Definitely "a best of (three worlds)" where I can order drinks, snacks, and Chinese cuisine foods from next door, and they will literally serve it from the restaurant next door. The bar owners were very friendly and helpful to give suggestions on what food is good here. I ordered the chicken claypot and it matches with my drink (gin & tonic) so well. A good spot for a wind down, and friends gathering. Definitely will be coming here again.

It’s a nice, peaceful bar with a calm atmosphere and a good variety of drinks. I came here because it’s quiet and not crowded. I like it — it’s a comfortable place to talk with friends.

Great whiskey bar with good selections. Adrian knows his drinks and can give you some good suggestions. For the high end whiskey prices are really good. Bar food but really good. Had the dry Laksa and Singapore chicken curry, both were really good...not typical Laksa but good for eating at the bar. Service is amazing and great atmosphere for drinks and conversations. Bathrooms were clean but not for wheelchair access, but most places there are not. A must try if you appreciate good whiskey and good people to have conversations with.

Lovely place - Cosy atmosphere and reasonable price point (no GST). Food was delicious! The chef specially customised a vegetarian impossible meat burger for me, to accommodate my dietary preference. Not too salty, everything was seasoned perfectly and flavourful. The fries were awesome too. He also customised a pizza with 2 flavours too : half margarita (vegetarian) for me, and half tuna for my husband. Love that the crust is not thick, it's thin but not overly so. Generous with the ingredients, with lots of cheese, making it a super satisfying meal. Had to dabao back home as we couldn't finish the food due to the generous portions. When we heat up the pizza the next day, it taste just as good! :) The hub's verdict: Great food, great place for a date. We will come back again!

No GST Beer and Bites in Chinatown when other places are charging 15-17 a pint, they are charging 13 a pint without GST. a cosy western bar with reasonably priced food and beers/ alcohol? i recommend this place!! can try the Black Cab beer. it’s a stout that has a very coffee-like taste but it’s very smooth and doesn’t taste as thick as guiness. it’s very drinkable and pleasant on its own. sausage platter was surprisingly tasty. the sausages were varied (3) and each tasted q distinctly different. they were not oven baked and very obviously grilled/ pan fried. sausages had a nice char to them the fries were REAL POTATO PEELED!!!! lady boss and staff were all very friendly and attentive. makes u feel like home. standing and seating, high tables, low tables, they’ve got it all!!!! Recommend this place, good job Tom Dick and Hillary!
