The View

Had a great dinner at The View. The city skyline was absolutely stunning and really made the night feel special. The food was overall delicious and well-executed. We started with the roasted baby beets and steak tartare - both fresh, flavorful, and nicely balanced. For mains, we originally wanted the filet mignon, but it was sold out, so we went with the bone-in ribeye and the prime rib au jus. The ribeye was definitely the standout - perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The prime rib was good, but not as memorable in comparison. Service was attentive and seamless throughout. Definitely a spot worth visiting for both the view and the overall dining experience.

The View at the Marriott Marquis was a fantastic night out. Food was genuinely great, the service was on point, and the wine list had way more good options than I expected. The rotating floor is a blast—you get a full lap of the Manhattan skyline over the course of dinner without leaving your seat. Touristy in the best way. Would absolutely go back.

The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere. The live classical music was excellent, soft, relaxing, and perfect for a romantic evening. The food was 10/10; every bite was delicious, and the drinks were amazing as well. The service was outstanding, the staff was attentive the entire time. The view of the city is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend it for an anniversary date.

Everything was perfect tonight! We arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes earlier than our reservation time but we were seated at the window table right away. The view was great. When we were seated, we got to see the beautiful sunset and during the dinner, we were treated by the night skyscrapers. We ordered the roasted baby beets, grilled swordfish, roasted half chicken and chocolate cake. Everything was delicious. Our server, Yacouba, was very courteous, friendly and helpful. We felt very lucky to have him as our server. We’ll definitely come back every time we’re in NYC.

The View is a bit of an experience. I took my wife here for our 9th wedding anniversary. It is up on the 47th floor, when you get in the hotel take the escalator to the 3rd floor, then take the elevator up. The food was so so good. We got filet minions, mashed potatoes and french fries. We got chocolate cake for desert, it was dense and amazing. Service was great. The restaurant rotates, about 1 rotation an hour. We went on a Sunday at around 5PM, so we saw the view of the city during daylight hours. I reserved for our dinner about a week in advance, but it wasnt too busy while we first got there. There was a live piano player. Some people had their families and kids with them. I, personally, was glad it was just me and the wifey. I dont think I would want to take my kids there.
