The Upper Room Restaurant & Cafe

I wanted to do a brunch during Christmas and I managed to find this restaurant. There’s ample car park and the homely vibe welcomes you the moment you walk in. Service is attentive and efficient. First time ordering from telegram but it was also easy so no issues there. The food had 1-1 for brunch even on Christmas. Somehow that was such an excellent deal. We ordered the brunch items which was the eggs Benedict on Rosti and the Mac and cheese with a side of fries. The food was delicious and certainly fit into the good brunch food category. The fries was hot salty and yummy. Will definitely be back.

Had lunch at The Upper Room, every detail feels intentional—from the warm, intimate atmosphere to dishes that balance creativity and comfort. Ordered the peppercorn chicken with mash potato and salad (for health xD) good portion sized for decent value ($17.60). Chicken was juicy and gravy was delicious. Yakitori (pork belly and chicken ball) was subarashii. Atmosphere is great, playing old school rock music. Would come here again.

Saturday lunchtime timing and the upper floor was reserved for a wedding. There should be a way for customers to know if upper or lower floors are booked out before heading down in person Do take note that there are 2 menus - something in the day and something in the evening. Did not know this beforehand too The brunch menu was quite good and sumptuous, decent and generally a nice place to sit and talk

Affordable lunch sets and their protein sets are very worth it at $8. Overall, dishes are yummy, and ice cream is yummy too! Just maybe if can serve the mains together with the rice comes if not becomes abit cold already. But overall good experience will come again!
