Cool little hidden speak easy type bar. Excellent craft cocktails and a phenomenal staff! Make a reservation for a smooth entry. Great adult date night vibe, no kids or crying babies! Drinks are spot on and the mixologists put on a great show behind the bar!π₯
On 5/22/26 visited this lil hideaway spot. I canβt say enough about it, absolutely fast , fun and friendly. Real old school Speakeasy vibes. But Eric our host and Chelsea our waitress WOW. They both should be trainers and managers. Eric has a way of literally making you feel welcome and invited. He is very personable and knowledgeable about the establishment. Chelsea is not only absolutely girl next door gorgeous, but sweet as peach cobbler and you will know doubt go back just because of her customer service. Literally all of the staff make you feel very welcomed. The food is awesome, drinks are pricey but have a wow factor. The facility is clinically clean and the ambience is fresh, fun and lively.
First of all- our bartender Jenny was incredible! She is so talented at what she does! Our drinks were fabulous. We got a youβll flip your eye out and WOW. The smoked trout dip and chips were also incredible. Loved every bit of it! Just a little loud
Make sure you reserve ahead of time! The drinks and cocktails are absolutely phenomenal, crafted with care and creativity. Itβs a small place, so the staff can be a bit pushy about ordering more drinks, which can be a little annoying, but it makes sense given they need to keep business moving. Be prepared to pay more than usual, but itβs worth every penny for the quality and experience. Conversation isnβt the easiest here because of the size and lively atmosphere. Food options are limited.
The Roost in Sacramento was absolutely worth the visit. Parking was definitely a challenge, but the moment we walked in, we knew it was worth the effort. As whiskey lovers, we were super impressed with their selection, and their Roost Old Fashioned was perfectionβsmooth, balanced, and crafted with intention. The food was surprisingly amazing too, way better than we expected from a whiskey-focused spot. Add in the great vibes and cozy atmosphere, and it made for a perfect night out. Totally worth the hunt for parking!
