Went to The Rec Room Roundhouse for a K-Pop event and it was legit. The sound and lighting were on point, the crowd energy was amazing, and the venue handled the flow really well—even with lots of people. Between the event vibe and all the games/food on site, it felt like the perfect mix of concert night + hangout. Staff were friendly and things ran smoothly, so we could just enjoy the music and have fun. Would 100% go back for another K-Pop night!
The rec room went above and beyond our expectations! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and the service was exceptional! Our server was Shan and they were very attentive, friendly and quick. They really made this visit exceptional and something that we will definitely come back to. They were helpful with answering questions and just going above and beyond in every way. The food was quick but really high quality and it was a very exciting place!!
I’d like to negative stars if possible. Sheer waste of money. We ordered fish tacos and citrus spiced chicken bowl. Totally bland and flavourless. Tons of places around that serve palatable food. Find a decent place. Do yourself a favour! Update : This review was posted after we had just provided feedback to our server. 5 mins later, the manager came to us and asked for feedback. He also gave us a complimentary dish - the crispy chicken burger which was well prepared. He insisted on giving our kid a little plushie as a gift. I’m upgrading the rating to 3 star because I think the Manager really went out of his way to make us feel better. Kudos to good management that cares about customer experience
Tried the Fish & Chips at The Rec Room and was disappointed with the taste and quality. The Fish & Chips is listed as a popular dish on the menu, but I found it to be just average. The fish was overly crispy on the outside and was not as flavourful as I expected. The fries were cold, soggy, and lacked seasoning. The mustard-caper dill sauce served with the dish tasted a bit pungent. Overall, the dish felt overpriced at $18. I ended the meal with the Warm Chocolate Cake, which was decent. Service was good overall, and the server was friendly and professional.
Had a great time when I went on a Saturday. It was definitely busy because the Blue Jays game had just finished. However, we were able to get a table in a reasonable amount of time. There was also a lot of staff to help. Food and drinks were excellent. Did not play may games but did get to enjoy some wrestling. Highly recommended!
