The Learning Board Tuition Centre (Hougang)

Very grateful towards Teacher Clarence for not giving up on helping my daughter with her English when she used to fail this subject often in school when given a chance to pursue it as an O level subject while being in NA stream. Today she received a B3 for English as O level subject which got converted to A1 as NA level, allowing her to be eligible for PFP. Recalled how my daughter used to tell me that she enjoyed the English tuition and always felt motivated and encouraged by Teacher Clarence. Thank you for this wonderful impact you have made, Teacher Clarence!

My son attended English tuition for his O’ Levels at The Learning Board. Teacher Clarence is very caring and patient in his teaching. Before tuition, my son’s English grade was C5. After attending Teacher Clarence’s classes, his O’ Level English result improved tremendously to an A2. Thank you, Teacher Clarence, for your guidance. He is very sincere and puts in a lot of effort into teaching.

I would like to express my gratitute and appreciation to Mr Clarence for his patience in guiding my girl that leads her to improve on her English grade from C6 to B3 in O level. I am extremely happy that my girl manage to get a B3 for her English as her results is always at the borderline. She would always come home telling me how Mr Clarence always motivate her and i think it really makes a difference to a student. Thank you so much to you. 🙂

I share from both perspective of my child as well as myself. From the first time I interact with Clarence, he gave me a good impression. Throughout the time that my child was in the tuition centre, my son shared with me how they guided the class and how he give them important pointers on how to improve his English. With the patience and guidance, we are happy about my child's result and will recommend this tuition centre to others.

I am glad to get to know Learning Board through an online friend in Jan 2024.On the other hand I was also worried if it might be kinda too late for my O level child to start new in this centre for his major exam.Why I was confident to try out Learning Board was knowing the founder Mr Clarence was teaching the graduating class.And their system was good whereby they allow student to do paid trial class up to 4 lessons,so that your child will know if there is chemistry with the teacher and if the teaching styles suits your child.Ryen is very choosy on these aspects and turn out he likes Mr Clarence's teaching style.Mr Clarence also keeps in touch with his students via whatsapps.He is a caring,patient and responsible teacher who also fork out his time to give advice to parents like me who was thinking about my child's pathways -JC or Poly?? Mr Clarence pretty understand Ryen's character and behaviour though he is only with him for 10months.He analysed well for me so I can make informed decision together with my child. A Big Thanks and Shout Out to Mr Clarence Learning Board-my child ( from C5/C6) scored an A2 for his O Level!
