Ordered kids meatball spaghetti, Mushroom soup, beef burger, cabonara, fried chicken wings, Tutti Fruitti Drink, Blue pea Tea. Out of all these, the only one that didn't taste good was fried chicken wings. It was cripsy but not very flavourful. Mushroom soup with garlic bread was good. The bread was toasted to a crisp and goes well with the soup. Wanted to get more but they do not sell garlic bread as a side dish. Beef burger was generous portion. Coleslaw was really good and fresh too. The dressing was perfect.
1st time trying the foods here. Order from the kiosk. Food pick up from counter. Basically no staffs interaction at all. Foods 3/5. I order double patties steak. Very delicious. The sauce goes well with the patties. Wifey ordered lamb chop.. meat was tough even cutting it with metal steak knife. The worst was the chicken wing. It seem the wings have been too long in freezer. Marination was tasty but the meat still have frozen blood. We did not even finish the wings. Refer to the photos.
Tried The Happy Café inside Gain City, it’s at the back on the first floor. Just follow your nose and you’ll find it lol. I ordered the seafood aglio olio ($9.90) and the fish and chips ($11.90). For the price, the food is cheap and reasonably good, really cannot complain for this price lah hahaha. A nice, fuss-free, value-for-money meal. Would come back again.
Ordered Mac and Cheese, and added on a chicken wing. MAC was alright, and the chicken wing was a little tasteless. Came here on a Monday night, very quiet and we were the only customers. Took about 10 minutes for our food to be ready, which is alright.
Had a late lunch with my hubby at Gain City, Happy Cafe in in Sungei Kadut. Halal certified. I ordered the fish and chips, which came with generous, chunky wedges topped with cheese—very tasty! The fish was fresh, though I would have preferred the batter to be a bit crispier. The spicy chili sauce really added a nice kick. I also had the icy strawberry mint drink, which was super refreshing—perfect for the hot day. The only downside was that the air conditioning could only really be felt when the exit doors were closed. Still, overall, I really enjoyed my meal and the experience.
