Just had dinner here, and oddly we just found this place while searching around for certain dishes. Saw that the reviews here could point to hits and misses, but guess it was hits for us. The restaurant really has a menu thats spans many cultures, but of course leaning more towards I believe Arab and Turkish roots. We landed on Dum Mutton Briyani, Butter Chicken with Rice and one of my kids was spoilt for choice as he wanted to try many of the Turkish items but in the end, got the Mousakka with lamb (like a lagsana). I also got the Kalaki under the omelette section which the manager explained was like an omelette with pleasant gravy within. I must admit we loved all the dishes and I really like the papadum that came with the Briyani which was not the typical kind but thicker and crunchier. In the end, it was really filling for all of us. The only gripe I have was that the kopi I got was really sweet, too sweet for my liking, thus would have to get siu dai in future. Service wise, the staff were all attentive and the manager was friendly. Even when I went to ask for some utensils, the waiter wanted to bring over to my table, but I told him it was ok. We were early around 5, so crowd wise, there were still ample tables. So all in all, a good experience and would definitely be back.
We had a Lamb Maqlubah $24.90++ and Nutella Pancake $12.80++ We had to wait quite awhile for our food with the restaurant about 80% full during lunch on 1st day of CNY. Both were very tasty but the quantity of lamb was too little for the price. Some berries (like in the photo on the website ordering system) would give the pancakes 5 stars! I love that there wasn't too much Nutella in the pancake π
Great experience, simple nice decor. Good service and amazing menu range from western, asian to middle eastern food. You could eat here everyday and still got something new to try. Food quality is good, reasonable portion and great taste. The lamb was tender and full of flavour. The Hummus could be improved and sauces less oily. Overall, still a good place to hang with family and friends.
Had Mother's Day lunch. Food was awesome. Service was great eventhough it is fullhouse. Satay, tulang merah and meat platter as so so good. Thank you for the complimentary cake! Sya was attentive to our request and kudos to all those that working all out.
Has always wanted to try after seeing a lot of good reviews & seeing the pictures on FB. So finally we got to try yesterday. Spacious, cosy & comfortable sitting area. After going thru the menu a few times thinking what to order as there was a widespread of items, we chosen: *BBQ Mixed Seafood Grill *Truffle Mushroom Risotto *Beef Lasagna *Baby Kailan Daging *Cheese garlic naan *Plain naan *Butter chicken *Tom yum beef soup *Chicken Tikka Masala *Felafel *Kunafe We definitely did not regret choosing the above as the taste was so flavorful, succulent & mouth watering!! The portion was huge too. There were so many pieces of beef in the kailan & tomyum. The lasagna has so much mince beef. And service was good too. They offered to join the next table to ours after seeing our table was cramped. And also helped to pack certain items that we couldn't finish. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience & we will certainly come back soon to try other dishes. Thank you Syed Care for making our day!!
