Star Bagawan Bar By The River

This place was just fine, but the pricing is not clear at all. I expected to pay about 19-21 for my drink, but was charged a couple dollars extra. I know there was some extra fee, but that was factored into the pricing of about 21 SGD. The atmosphere is nice, as it’s right by the water and located at the end of a nice strip with other bars and pubs, but the tables outside are quite close together leaving little space. Our drink came out decently quick, but it seemed like the employees were watching us as we drank at some times.

Been to this place and noticed it's by the river, calm and peaceful vibe for a weekday, there was a crowd in the early hours. At 2am the place was still vibing with people. The staff were friendly and they attended to all the request. A few pointers to mention. 1. The manager was friendly and gave discount as my group ordered more. 2. Beers are affordable. 3. The food popcorn chicken is a must have! Taste so good with the drinks. It's really a different positive feel to relax here in the late hours after a long day.

Came here for a drink. I got a Singapore sling which was decent but the pricing is not clear. On the menu it stated it was $19 but I was charged $23.10. I was going to order another drink after but someone came to cash me out right away which is fine but I found it a little odd. The atmosphere is nice on the river and the music is pretty good but the tables are pretty crowded.

Love this placeeeee star bagawan the best drinks and good. Shots from $3 and beer from $5 , beer tower to $30. The staffs ate friendly and the vibe is super good. Outdoor cooling seating by the singapore river and nice view. Best place to chill and my go to place always yesss

Bad review alert…We found this nicely located Indian bar by the riverside, good vibes and with 4.9 star reviews! (Today is 02Aug2025) At first the ordering process was smooth and the attitude of the waiters were courteous and polite, until we found out that the order took around 30mins with three separate reminders from us… the staff has repeatedly said ‘the order has already been prepared” when we said we want to cancel the order, and he ensured us the order would arrive in 3mins (5mins ago)… and cancelling the order was strictly denied… to this point I really don’t think it’s a place one would come again… the point is that from the tables around us (10 tables) no one has order food at all…one more point on safety ( I know I should mention it first) the design of the table (see picture) my wife accidentally knocked her knee onto the corner of the metal square below ( thanks for the purpose but…) you could imagine the pain…
