Furnace breaker trips, no heat or ac. Came in one day, found a junction box in the crawl space and repaired within an hour of showing up. AC is on thanks to thier quick response. Really pleased with the service.

The guys came out to look at the job I wanted to have done. They said they would have an estimate in two days. I waited five days and called the office. I asked about the estimate and the receptionist indicated she would email it to me that morning. This was on Tuesday morning and it is now Friday evening and still no estimate. If this is how they treat potential customers, I want no part of this company! I gave them one star only because I had to in order to write a review. I would not use this company and I will not recommend them to anyone!

My property manager set me up with this company to get my kitchen lighting fixed. My appointment was for today between 12 and 2. I call at 3 to ask if they’re still coming today and the lady who answered the phone sounded like she just woke up. I gave her my name and address and she says to me” what is (street name) Court? My f’n address where your repair men are supposed to be. I didn’t say that on the phone. I just hung up. Her sarcasm was unbelievable.

Update: increased from 1 to 3 stars. They waived the charges for their visit, and other people I spoke with in their office were very professional. Can I give a zero star review? Do NOT do business with this company. They installed fans for me and one was crooked in the ceiling. Made a warranty-only appointment for them to straighten the fan. This was the second attempt to make the appointment after they no-showed the first time with no explanation. When they did show, they were unable to straighten it. I later received a bill via email for $90. They never told me there would be a charge for their visit until I received the bill. I called them telling them the appointment was made for warranty work only so there shouldn’t be a charge. The woman on the phone hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional, don’t waste your time, it’s not worth it.

NOTE: I may update this depending on how the follow-on service is re: the inspection report. I was in the process of house-buying when my primary inspector indicated that the house likely has K&T wiring. He suggested I contact a licensed electrician to inspect the wiring. My insurance said that they would insure K&T wiring only if it did not connect with my main appliances or other heavy-draw devices. Long story short, I had only two days left to inspect the house, and South Sound Electric was able to squeeze me in for an inspection before they started their normal schedule for the day. They arrived, were friendly, and best of all, allayed all fears with the electric. They performed an extensive inspection and gave me items that they feel should be fixed, but best of all, they were able to identify that the house no longer had K&T, but old style romex. Now, I don't know how good they are at making appointments that you schedule in the future (as others have commented on), but at least for my inspection, they were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable.
