An amazing experience. You slowly float over the bay in a glass bottom gondola with amazing views stretching out in every direction. The whole boarding went quickly and because there weren't many people we had the whole gondola to ourselves. Otherwise it would have been 8 people. The ride takes about 10 minutes and you end in the park where spectacular vistas await. There was absolutely no drawback to this experience that I could find. Excellent all the way!

The cable car ride is definitely enjoyable on a sunny day, offering nice views along the way and a smooth, scenic experience. That said, it comes with a few downsides. If you don’t purchase a return ticket, you’ll end up on the other side of town, which can be inconvenient depending on your plans. It also feels a bit overpriced for what it is, especially if you opt for the glass-floor cabin, which comes at an even higher cost. Worth doing once for the views, but best to plan ahead and consider if the extra options are really worth it.

The cable car was super easy to get to—you can actually see it in the background from the surrounding area. I ended up doing the round trip with the see-through glass bottom, and I’m really glad I did. The price difference wasn’t much at all—only about 7,000 won more—and it was absolutely worth it, especially during the day when you can clearly see below. Buying the ticket was simple. I went straight to the kiosk, there was no line and no wait, and then headed up to the cable car floor (I believe it was the fourth floor). They separate you based on the ticket type—glass bottom or standard—and from there you’re guided onto the cable car. Each car can fit up to eight people, but if you’re by yourself or just with one other person, you’ll typically get your own cart, so you don’t have to worry about sharing with strangers. Overall, it was smooth, quick, and really enjoyable. I highly recommend opting for the glass-bottom version if you’re debating—it adds a fun and unique touch to the experience.

We visited Songdo Bay Sky Park last December 19 as part of the Visit Busan Pass, and this is definitely a must-try when you are in Busan. The views from the cable car are amazing and give you a great perspective of the coast. On the way back, we rode the crystal cable car and it was pretty windy, so it swayed side to side for a bit, which honestly scared us. Thankfully, it stabilized after passing one of the towers. The Sky Park itself is well laid out, with food stalls where you can grab snacks and drinks. The suspension bridge is also easily accessible from the park and worth checking out. Overall, a fun experience with great views and something I would highly recommend adding to your Busan itinerary.

An incredible experience and a must for anyone visiting Busan! We chose the Crystal Cruise cabin with the clear glass floor, and I highly recommend it for the added thrill. Floating 86 meters above the sparkling emerald sea is unforgettable. The views of Songdo Beach, Namhang Bridge, the rugged coastline, and the city are spectacular from start to finish. The journey takes you to Songdo Sky Park at the upper station, which is a destination in itself. There are beautiful observation decks, fun photo opportunities (including a dinosaur park), and lovely walking trails. Pro tip: After the cable car ride, walk along the Songdo Cloud Trails (the skywalk) next to the station. It is another fantastic way to enjoy the ocean scenery. It is best to book tickets online to avoid long queues, especially on weekends. However, you can only use online tickets the next day.
