I don’t usually write reviews, but my first experience with SoCool Pte Ltd was worth sharing. Michael & Jackson were professional, approachable, and clearly experienced in their work. They arrived on time, explained everything in a straightforward and honest manner, and completed the servicing with great care and attention to detail. There was no pressure to purchase additional services, which I genuinely appreciated. It’s rare to come across technicians who combine technical expertise with such excellent customer service. The entire experience was smooth, and my air conditioner is performing noticeably better. I will definitely continue using SoCool Pte Ltd for future servicing and would recommend them with confidence.

This is the first time that I am engaging SoCool Pte Ltd for a chemical overhaul service and was generally satisfied with the overall outcome. Michael & Jackson were punctual, and knowledgeable. They explained the servicing process including the cost and carried out the work. The thermistors on both units were also changed and the gas was topped up. The aircon is now cooling much better after the chemical overhaul. The outcome was good. However, do note that their services do not come cheap - get a quotation before doing chemical overhaul. Chemical overhaul for 2 18K BTU fan coils and the condenser and replacement of 2 thermistors and gas top up cost $1035 which was on the high side. On hindsight, I felt that Michael was over enthusiastic in wanting to replace the thermistors instead of testing them with a multimeter and cleaning them first instead of replacing them. In return for a discount of $40, I was requested to give a 5-star review with the photos taken which I did initially but later revised because I felt that I was being over charged. Looking through the other reviews, I can see that most of the reviews sounded more or less the same. I do not mind paying for good quality professional service but I would like to see more transparency in the pricing. If there was something that I learnt from this encounter, it is this red flag: if there are too many 5-star ratings within a short period of time that sound more or less the same in wording and context and mentioning names of the technicians, they are most likely solicited. I can safely attest to this.
