The decor is welcoming, rather large inside. Service was good and enjoyed catching up with friends. I expected more from the food, portion balancing and taste. It was not a bad experience, but I expected more from the price point and area. Presentation is strong with average cocktails. Dessert was ‘ok’ too. Not sure I’d visit. Street parking 🅿️ is like winning a scratch off. There is a sometimes free lot a couple blocks off, called Pearl Street Parking Lot.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food at this restaurant. Caesar salad was very flavorful with freshly made croutons and a parmesan crisp. The french dip burger was recommended by the server and was cooked perfectly with an amazing sauce. Truffle fries came on the side and were also great.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Melissa this week! She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly—truly going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her eye for detail and warm personality made the entire process easy and enjoyable. The food and menu were fantastic, with great options for everyone—even my vegan colleague had some choices. Melissa was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I can’t recommend her enough. Social is a fantastic spot for any gathering—big or small—with an inviting atmosphere and an amazing team that truly cares about your experience.

I've only been down this road once prior out of my hundreds of reviews. But, when I fly from Los Angeles to Boston being sold a hotel room with an open restaurant in a clean room, I kind of expect that. I don't think that's too much to ask. Upon arrival I found that the restaurant was closed to a private party for the night. This was at 4:00 p.m. during their advertised open hours and there was absolutely no one inside. I was simply turned away by staff. You'll find later, that I was also turned away when the private party was over during operational hours and still turned away. That's at midnight when I was kind of lightheaded from low blood sugar throughout the day. Maybe that could have been okay except that I was starving at that point and needed to meet somebody else there for a late lunch before a theater play. They're closed restaurant didn't really hurt anyone or cause anyone to starve to death. But, it was an extraordinary inconvenience and I did go hungry for that play and when I returned the party wasn't even there anymore and they still still turn me away before closing time. There was only one person at the front desk, only one person in charge of the entire hotel, plenty of staff in the restaurant. Okay that sucked, but when I went upstairs and saw the grossness of my room I began to wonder if I should be asking for a refund. Yes some of the pictures I've attached show dirty Wash clothes and wet toilet rolls. Wash cloths with brown gross stuff on them. Toilet paper rolls with wet fingerprints on them. Super duper not cool. This review marks only the second review of my entire career that is not on the positive side. That should tell you something. You can come here but you don't know what you're going to get, and chances are that won't be food and a clean room. I wanted to start crying but there was only one or two decorative tissues in the Kleenex box. Got to be kidding me man.

I have spent lots of time here when I have visited Boston on business. The food is consistently good, the staff are always friendly and offer a warm welcome. Fabio (manager?) Leah, Stephen, Melissa, Angie,John and the team are great and also make me feel at home when I am far from home. I would highly recommend coming to try the food and cocktails here while watching sport on their 6 screens, showing: NBA, NFL, NHL and even premier league Soccer (for the Brits 😉). The weekends tend to be a bit more lively, they have a live band from time to time.
