Social Cali of San Jose

Running a venture-backed startup in Mountain View means constant pressure to grow, especially when investors are watching CAC. We had worked with two other agencies before and were disappointed both times. Traffic numbers looked nice, but pipeline impact was minimal. What caught my attention about Social Cali of San Jose was their positioning as AIO optimization experts.

Similar to a recent review on here (not the fluff reviews) - We were hoping to find a true Bay Area agency who understands our market audience. While this company advertises they are in SJ, their rep made it clear to me that they are not located here and use this profile for their marketing. Honestly, this was super upsetting to hear as I wasted a lot of time. Oh well, will keep the hunt going!

beware beware of this company we had a fall out with this company. I’m a plumbing contractor. They didn’t like it so they use their fake emails and are writing bad reviews once a day they also while working on my website spammed it and droppped the rankings drastically my phones weren’t even ringing anymore. Now they’re trying to sabotage my business. I work hard on trying to make a reputation and they’re ruining it. Do not hire this company. I’m telling you do your research before you hire this company.

Update 2/22/26: After their absurd & insulting reply, I want to reiterate that this business is not only unethical, but a total liability. Check out the other recent reviews (sort by negative) We needed a local marketing agency in San Jose. Went to the office and found out there was no one actually there under this company name. Be careful.
