The food centre has a retro-style ambiance. It can get a little warm inside, perhaps because the atmosphere is so inviting.
Most important is the food is good. Price wise is consider expensive. It's located at the level 2 market place. My order is mee pok dry without vinegar.
This is the area if you are looking for good food. Its halal food paradise. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Restaurants on both sides of the road. You have Indian, Asian, Thai and Mediterranean. Also a good place to hang out with family and friends.
This is a rather chill food centre which is unlike the usual hawker centres...hip brands with good grub and drinks/booze! We had Kneady's pizza - thru have a few options - this is with sausages, jalapeños and cheese on a nicely baked sourdough base...try it. Also had the olive fried rice and brinjal w Minced pork from the Thai stall which was really good...full-on flavours with freshly cut onions, cashew nuts and lots of birds eye chilli with the olive fried rice and that brinjal was nice and crunchy with the well-marinated minced pork. Ended the meal with the Choco Lava Cake from Chocolate Origin...oolala...rich, creamy and sinful!
This place has been around for decades. Alot of old shops like spize, bak chor mee, tou hua, etc - a place great for all genders and races. If free parking is available, it will be great. The bak chor mee is springy and chewy, dont have the alkaline taste. Best mee pok. Can really try. Tou hua can add as breakfast, tea break or supper. This will be a place for everyone. Can come.
