This place is fun, but because my expectations were high they unfortunately was not met and I’ll explain why. We had to settle for the lobster melt, but really wanted the lobster roll (we were told the lobster roll wasn’t available???) It was average and my expectations for the mac and cheese were high too and also just average. I’m glad this place gets a good following because the atmosphere is fun and filled with games too. My daughter did enjoy the Kiera kids meal! The star by far is the blueberry pie. If there is one thing to try… it’s the blueberry pie.
Truly one of the best places I’ve been to in a long time! Establishment is clean and organized, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The waitress didn’t rush our order, rather she used her knowledge to make recommendations. I ordered the Shrimp appetizer, and I have never been more impressed. The food was delicious, came to our table with the right temperature, amazing flavor and tenderness. The price was just right as well! I highly recommend you visit this place!
Side Street doesn’t skimp when it comes to their lobster rolls. They are absolutely delicious, especially when paired with a side of mac & cheese. But the real standout is their blueberry pie! It has the most mouth-watering filling made from local blueberries, and they top it off with sanding sugar for a bit of a crunch. Ask for it warm with a scoop of ice cream! I took a 50-mile detour from Bangor just to have it a second time before flying home 😂
GOOD FOOD!!! ——> If you’re in search of some good food this is your place! My wife and I ordered the short rib macaroni and cheese which was delicious! They gave us a generous portion which was good because it wasn’t a cheap meal. The ribs fell off the bone so we were able to eat them with a fork. Our only complaint was the service was an average experience, the waiter only came by the table once. Drinks were not refilled. I would highly recommend coming here for the food though!
The food was amazing. The sauce on the Bangin shrimp was really good as well as the pita that came with it. The Nomad Burger was the best bacon cheeseburger I’ve ever had every piece of it compliments another. Our waiter Nico was super nice. I can’t think of anything wrong with this place.
