Avoid at all costs. We paid Shout a significant sum for a website redevelopment. There was no proper plan, no structured delivery, and no meaningful client sign-off. What we ultimately received was a cheap, copy-and-paste version of our old site. Simon was extremely efficient at securing payment — deposit and a large stage payment — but we were strong-armed into paying the final invoice before being allowed to see the site at the “go-live” stage. When it finally went live, it was clearly around 50% complete. After this, communication stopped. We later spoke directly with the subcontracted developers used by Shout. They confirmed: They were never paid There were meant to be multiple client sign-off stages Shout signed work off internally without our approval In short: poor delivery, unethical payment practices, and zero accountability once paid. Avoid in the strongest possible terms.
