Shinsegae Centum City in Busan, South Korea, is the city’s largest shopping mall and holds a Guinness World Record as the world’s largest department store (or shopping complex) by total floor area. Shinsegae Centum City is massive- easily one of the biggest department stores I’ve ever seen. It has everything: designer brands, high-end cosmetics, cafés, and even a spa and movie theater. It’s clean and well-staffed, but it’s also a bit overwhelming. Prices are what you’d expect for a luxury mall, but the food court and bakery sections are worth exploring. Great for a rainy day or if you want to see Korean retail at its most polished, though it’s more of an experience than a must-see.

I often visit the 6th floor, where art exhibitions are held. It's where you can see the latest fashion trends and trends for everyone. Numerous luxury stores strive to attract visitors with their designs and styles. CGV on the 7th floor is the heart of Busan BIFF. It recently underwent a major renovation and is now much larger. The ordering system, designed to reduce wait times for food and beverages, is a unique feature. The exhibition showcases a constantly changing selection of products, reflecting the latest design trends and the latest trends for the upper-middle class. It's the world's largest department store, listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. The basement level is directly connected to the subway station and features a variety of fashion pop-up stores. There's also a food court. For shopaholics, this is a must-visit. You won't find a department store like this anywhere in Southeast Asia.

Really impressive, but very few local Brands. You can have coffee in the 5th floor. Very easy to go there by Uber. Credit Card in Taxis are accepted. Take 30 min to go back to Cruise Terminal.

Neither my wife nor I are shoppers, but we had to visit Shinsegae - Centum City, the world's largest department store. The interior is stunning; there is everything you would expect in a big mall, and more. The future Olympic figure skaters and short track speed skaters were fun to watch at the ice rink. There is an outdoor dinosaur playground for kids. I tested the honesty of shoppers by leaving my sackpack to reserve a table in the Food Hall while we ordered food. I tried to sneak a look at the private golf driving range, but was thwarted. We enjoyed it even though we did no shopping.
