Its really cute cafe filled with toys decoration which i assume is the owners fav. The service crew is really friendly and service speed is comfortable. The food is purely personally not my style. The cream is geek yogurt healthy but i didnt enjoy it with waffle. I feel it would be better if the egg is egg benedict instead. The salad is good. The drink taste very homely. But the homemade glelato, personally the taste is too light. Maybe i have been spoilt but the taste is like just glide thru, dont linger at all.
The food was surprisingly delicious! We ordered the Spalla with pork and the cod with their homemade gnocchi, and both dishes were excellent. The pork was incredibly tender and flavorful, while the tomato risotto paired with their homemade garlic chili oil took the dish to another level. The cod was perfectly cooked and very tasty, and the homemade gnocchi had a wonderful al dente texture. We also really enjoyed the passionfruit drink, made with passionfruit, honey, and chia seeds, it was refreshing and well-balanced. For dessert, the honeycomb gelato was a standout, with lovely floral notes and roasted honeycomb flavors. The owner was exceptionally kind and friendly, enthusiastically sharing recommendations and explaining the menu. The restaurant is also filled with cute figurines, and when we mentioned how much we liked one of them, he generously gave it to us! Weβre writing this review entirely on our own without being asked or receiving any incentives simply because the food, hospitality, and overall experience were genuinely worth recommending.
Nice simple no GST shop with cute decor pieces all around the shop. Food is good. Tried the spalla, which is a tomato based risotto and comes with generous pork slices. Tried the salmon lasagna also and it's one of the rare times when I tried lasagna in cream rather than tomato base. Both mains came with sides and both taste homely. The salad though, came with a black dressing which I originally assumed to be balsamic vinegar. However, upon taste, it's black sesame sauce! Kinda weird combi, balances okay with the mains but I can't decide if I liked the strong taste of the sesame to be most of what I can taste in my salad. Thus the salad become a sweet dish. Topped up 6.90 for a drink and ice cream! I think it's totally worth it and the texture of the ice cream which I chose - honeycomb, is kind of crumbly. So I knew it was made inhouse. Impressed with the food and friendly service and will return if in the area.
Ordered the Salmoriso (which is the risotto, changed to Pesto base) and Salmon with Tomato pasta. Salmon Pesto Risotto was absolutely delish!! π―very flavourful (so hard to find great ones in sg for some reason) and portions were huge and very value for money. Most memorable of all was the attentive service throughout our time there (from generously sharing recommendations with smiles on their face, free water and refillable, they even surprised us with an extra serving of ice cream π₯Ή) All in all had a truly enjoyable meal at this newly discovered hidden gem in Thomson Plaza (totally deserving of the high rating) π₯° Will be back for sure!
Brought my parents here and had a good time. Cosy place to have a nice, simple meal. The sauce on the salad was delicious. I have no idea what it is, but it's great! Ordered a few items, including risotto and gnocchi. Would love to come back here again. Great service too!
