Science Studios Learning Centre - Bukit Timah Plaza

A positive experience and short journey with SSL since Mar 2025 to PSLE. Has been a great stress and struggle to find right tutoring for Science from P5 till we met SSL. It is extremely important to focus on OEQ in realising how important to use appropriate keywords at the right time in answering all OEQ questions in order to score well. I was glad that my boy was able to learn under the supervision of Tr. Manda in her Accelerated Achievement Programme, a very patient & cool teacher. She gave regular updates on his weakness and what to follow up on revision and learning. Whenever my boy requires help to explain questions, she will take the extra mile to arrange time to meet my boy in the centre to explain and go through the questions that he has doubts thoroughly. His learning in SSL has been helpful to his achievement of AL1 for PSLE, a result that we did not expect. My boy has been wavering in between AL3 to AL2 since P5 depending on how well he understood and answered his MCQ & OEQ accurately. He aimed to score full marks for MCQ and to make less careless mistakes in OEQ by reading questions in detailed and answering with appropriate keywords. Thank you SSL for all the supports from Tr. Manda and also customer service at Bukit Timah branch (Ms. Roshni & Eliyana), I am grateful of you in offering follow up with teacher with all my various queries and needs. Thank you to Principal Callas your kindness when I needed help most on DSA advises, grateful of you taking pocket time in sharing much of your experiences of how your children went through the process and how I can help my boy in progressing his DSA journey. Thank you for everything SSL, the great team with the useful planned curriculum in helping all students grow their knowledge and interest in Science, has been a smooth and joyful journey. All the best to 2026 P6 student taking PSLE. Your last lap is very important and to be the best in your last lap, you need to start your engine as early as in P5. Be serious and be committed, no matter how tough the journey it may be, bite the bullet and do it. Good rewards will definitely come later. Never mind the nags from parents or teachers if you did not put in you utmost best and if you did not prioritise and set your goal. It is your result that determine your Secondary school and to know what the school has for you to shape you and your future. To have an outstanding results is truly not easy, it requires self commitment, determination, perseverence, resilence and never give up easily attitude. If you are P5 student next year, this December holiday, self examine see what you have achieved so far. What you want to achieve and how much is the gap to reach your goal and how you like to reach your goal. Speak with your parents and discuss the help you need. I am sure your parents will definitely standby you to provide. To receive flying colour results, you first need to make up your mind, to take ownership of your studies. Decision to do well should only come from you and not your parents. I always believe when there is a Will, there is a Way to succeed. Jiayou and all the best to P6s of 2026.

My girl has been with Science studios for two years and she has so far achieved perfect score in her Science tests. As parents, we are glad that we had found our girl a conducive and excellent centre which is able to bring her Science standard to a higher level. The trainers and teachers are very compassionate and put in great efforts in guiding and educating the students. There are also hands on lab experiment which the students get to experience the wonders of Science. Most importantly, the meticulous planned syllabus enable the students to have a better grasp and understanding of Science. I would highly recommend this centre to all parents who are looking to enhance their kids’ knowledge in Science.

Science Studios helped my boy obtain AL2 for his PSLE. Prior to atttending classes at Science Studios, he was at the AL4 level. Their classes have a good mix of hands-on/practical lessons and there are lots of opportunities to apply the knowledge which helped my boy to internalise the concepts. The regular quizzes were also good as it provided checkpoints for my boy and the teachers to understand where he needed to pay extra attention to. All in all, very grateful to all teachers at Science Studios for giving my boy the much-needed boost for PSLE!

Science Studios is an extremely awesome tuition centre as the notes are very useful and the teachers there are very kind, helpful and patient. I have a really great time going to Science Studios and have always been looking forward to every lesson as they always have hands-on experiments and quizzes(Kahoot!) which are very fun and exciting. These helped me to understand the topic more and understanding it while having fun, giving me more interest in Science which made me feel more enthusiastic about learning a new topic. There would be quizzes at the end of every lesson and practice papers by Science Studios when exams are near. The teachers will always help me if I have any queries and will always stop to explain if someone doesn’t understand. They will also give you some small token of encouragement if you submit your homework promptly. My Science was really poor in P3 (at AL5) and with Science Studios’ help in P4, my grades improved and I got AL2 for PSLE! Both of my children enjoy the enrichment at Science Studios immensely and it is a class that they look forward to weekly. The interactive hands on experience they have brings the science curriculum to life. Thank you teachers for consistently delivering solid academic results and a lot of fun while doing it!
