Great ambience with nice floral deco, a perfect place to bring your date for dessert or have beer and chill with friends after dinner. One brings can be shared by 2 pax. Open till late. Complimentary water. Prices are definitely on the higher side but guess that is the cost for having such a gem in Duxton.
Probably the nicest bingsu I've ever had in Singapore. Went in on a whim during lunchtime and the bingsu was pretty pricey ($22++). However the flavours were unique (tried the Bailey's and chocolate bingsu) and was surprised by how light and fluffy it was. First time I felt I could finish it all by myself! Will be back to try the traditional injeolmi bingsu! This place also had very unique alcoholic drinks and nice decor, it's a really nice place to hang out! UPDATE: My colleagues and I did go back for the injeolmi bingsu (and also got the Bailey's again) and it did not disappoint! There was a lot of kinako (soybean) powder but it did not cause choking. The red beans were so good and the mochi did not stick in your teeth. Truly authentic Korean bingsu.

Dropped by on a scorching hot Sunday at about 12:30pm, hoping for nothing more than a cold beer for my wife since there was signboard outside promoting Beers. The café was completely empty, but we decided to give it a go. Having just finished a hearty lunch at Nanyang, my two children and I were not ready for more food, so only my wife ordered a beer. To our surprise, we were informed that everyone had to order something, otherwise they could not serve just the beer. Whilst we respect house policies, it felt rather inflexible given the circumstances and empty café. We thanked the staff politely and left, albeit rather disappointed. Sadly, the experience perhaps explained why the place was empty on a weekend lunchtime.
Went in for a quick bite and tried the ice beer, hmm quite good for the hot weather. Bar food was quite good to go with the beer🍺 . Enjoyed the spicy octopus most.
