River Valley Plumbing & Heating LLC

VERY impressed with this place. I walked in and immediately got help with various questions I had regarding appliances, plumbing, etc. that, as a single woman, I'd been struggling to figure out on my own. They were polite, patient, interesting and extremely knowledgable! Oh! Several years ago, one of their employees (still there too :) drove almost 1 1/2 hrs round trip when I was contemplating a cooling system and didn't charge me a dime; these kind of people are extremely rare these days!

When we received a call from Canon City's Public Works department telling us that we were using no less than 6 gallons of water per hour over 24 hours per day, we were concerned. We called River Valley who had provided services to us previously. They replaced a faulty backflow preventer, and it stopped the leak immediately. We highly recommend River Valley for needed plumbing and heating services. River Valley is an asset to our community--capable and trustworthy.

There were many difficulties with the wholesale supplier. But River Valley personnel worked through the issues resulting in successful completion of the job. Special thanks to Amy in the office and to Josh the plumber who remained on task through completion. I will definitely use River Valley again.

Brandon called to tell us his ETA and upon arrival, he immediately got to work, explaining what he found and needed to go get a part and returned promptly. He treated us with respect, curtesy and answered all of our questions. Very experienced technician!

Rare for a plumbing company to be like this but here are the pros and cons of hiring River Valley Plumbing & Heating: PROS: ● On time - technician showed up on time as agreed. ● Friendly - from Amy, who answered the phone, to Dom who came and did the work at my house... it's like they have a "must be friendly" policy at work. ● Professional - they sent Dom. Need say more? OK I will... he's like the Wikipedia of plumbing, able to translate plumbing lingo to regular folk like myself. ● Honest - never tried to hide any problems with the repair, and upfront about the cost. ● Accountable - kept me informed of the repair as he went along, and how much it would cost at the end. ● Family owned - small town and well run company. CONS ● If you don't like any of the PROS (above) then don't contact this company!
