The BSVG and VRB apps from PROJEKTIONISTEN GmbH are truly awful. I doubt a senior developer ever worked on them. Even looking at the company's photos, I think it was mostly junior developers who worked on them, and they probably had little to no experience. Both apps have bugs I've never seen in any other app. Here's a list: When you search for something at a specific time and then click on "Earlier," data is missing in between. It looks like nothing is running (usually for 30 minutes). I even rented a car because of this, only to later discover that there was indeed service and the app had a bug. The app scrolls up when the keyboard opens. Sometimes a black bar appears out of nowhere and won't go away. And after a while (sometimes as little as 2 minutes), the app becomes unresponsive; you simply can't click anything anymore. I have no idea how anyone could create bugs like these. I absolutely cannot recommend this software company. Regarding the argument that the ticketing system is to blame: that can't be true, as all the errors I described are only in the frontend, i.e., the user interface. The timetable data itself is correct, but it's provided by BSVG.

What these software developers have created as a ticketing app for BSVG is beyond belief. It's so incredibly bad and riddled with bugs that I seriously doubt any developer ever actually used it. I hope BSVG comes to its senses and hires a different developer to program its software in the future. Shame on you for offering such a basic and important service. No wonder nobody uses public transport if you can't even manage to provide a decent ticket booking app.
