I had a deeply disappointing and stressful experience with this so-called “top-ranking” SEO company. They charged me RM 8,000 per month for basic SEO—yet even those basic deliverables were never met. From the start, everything was handled unprofessionally. The person who originally onboarded me was fired during their internal reshuffling, and instead of assigning a proper replacement, they kept passing my project from one person to another, with no permanent or accountable point of contact. This went on for six months, and it was absolute chaos. Their excuses never ended. They repeatedly claimed they had “more important clients” to focus on, or that they were still reorganizing their team. None of that is my responsibility, yet I was the one who suffered the consequences. We literally made a loss for six months because of them. To be fair, I even proposed a reasonable solution: since they didn’t deliver during their internal issues, they could compensate by giving me the months they failed to perform for free and reflect it in future billing. They rejected this as well, and conveniently took a long time to respond to anything—except when it came to chasing payments. For payment, they were fast, persistent, and aggressive, almost like loan sharks. When I finally checked what they actually did on my website and Google SEO, I was shocked. They completely ruined the work I had previously built. Rankings dropped, traffic collapsed, and we literally had zero client flow from the moment they took over. After I cancelled and took back control, I deleted everything they touched, rebuilt it myself, and immediately started getting clients again. When I requested to cancel the contract and asked for a refund for the months where no deliverables were provided, they responded with intimidation and threats, which was extremely unprofessional and upsetting. Overall, it was a horrible six-month experience that cost us time, money, and business growth. I strongly recommend choosing a local SEO provider who can actually give proper attention to your project, instead of big agencies like this that only care about collecting money, not delivering results.
