I visited a Prestige Xclusive store to purchase a cooker, but the experience was highly disappointing. During the billing process, the shop owner insisted that I provide an OTP to enable promotional communications. When I declined, as I do not wish to receive such messages, his behavior turned rude and unprofessional. Instead of respecting customer choice, he responded arrogantly. I attempted to explain the importance of customer privacy and consent, but he reacted aggressively, stating that I should “educate the Prestige company” instead of him. When I pointed out that, as a representative of the brand, he should communicate such concerns to the company, he became even more agitated and started shouting. This kind of behavior reflects a complete lack of basic customer service etiquette. Respecting customer preferences and maintaining professionalism is essential, and this experience fell far below acceptable standards.
