I have been in the multifamily industry for 30+ yrs and Pioneer does not disappoint. They have a lot more knowledge of the insects and causes in apartment communities than other pest control companies I’ve used. They’re top choice for me.
This company has been service my current property and the progress is amazing. The tech also explains how important it is to clean up immediately after you see dead bugs and also advised if I need extreme treatment or regular and it work great now I can get service every 2-3 months.
I apologize in advance for the long read. Back in June we realized that we were dealing with bedbugs. I thought I was doing the right thing by contacting my apartments and going through their pest control company (Pioneer Pest Control). I started getting treatments from them in early June. These were my issues 1. Communication they weren’t very communicative with the apartment management with updates unless I called the apartment complex and asked them to reach out to them to get more information 2. The first spray seemed to go as it should ( I am NO pest control expert) but the second spray seemed like it was half done not all the drawers were left open and it just didn’t seem as thorough as the first. (My opinion) 3. After the 3rd treatment I had them come and inspect again (10-14 days after). I had already found a momma and her babies on my bed frame the morning they were coming to check the status of things, but what do I know. I wanted the experts to come take a look. They came out the same day and declared my apartment bedbug free, but something wasn’t sitting right with me. So I called 3 other pest control companies to just come out and look for me the day after their all clear declaration. All 3 found eggs on the headboard in my master bedroom & showed me. They were all polite in saying that either the pest control company I was using just wasn’t educated on this type of bug infestation and missed it or they saw it and were setting me up to spend more money with them. As a single mom this was huge loss for me financially that I had to take on the chin and spend more money with another company to remedy the issue. I don’t want this to happen to another person who’s already over extending themself. I just want to suggest that others not use this company for bed bug services. They may be wonderful at other things but they are definitely lacking in this area. God Bless.
The tech explained literally nothing to us. When I called for info they said my apt manager should have gave me everything I needed to know. When I asked her for info on what they would be doing she had nothing but “preparation” info for me. When he did the treatment he unplugged our security camera so that we couldn’t watch him. Then after the treatment was done I got an email from my apartment manager saying that they recommend another $200 treatment because the tech said he found a live bug that he couldn’t get to.... horrible experience. Horrible customer service and I feel like a big waste of money! They are obviously scamming apartment complex’s. So pioneer, I see you like to reply back and say that you don’t show people in your records. Let me help you out. I am resident of the abbey at spring town center and I had service on Friday 5/1.
Excellent service! From the initial phone call ($20 off with a web coupon) to a follow-up service to take care of ants that popped back up 3 weeks later, I was very happy with my treatment. Employee was dressed in a uniform, covered his shoes, came within the hour time range, and was very courteous. Most importantly, the ants have been gone for over 3 months. I will definitely call them again on an annual or semi-annual basis.
