Deeply disappointed by PestBusters’ approach. PestBusters promotes a narrative that labels common birds such as pigeons, crows, and mynas as “pests.” These animals are not pests by nature — they are simply trying to survive in the environments we humans created. By branding them as “pests,” the company justifies cruel and outdated culling practices that cause unnecessary suffering. Their materials mislead the public into believing these birds are dangerous, when in fact the real issues are human food waste and poor urban planning. Culling is not a solution; it is a cycle of cruelty that ignores science and compassion. Humane and sustainable alternatives like Ovocontrol, waste management, and habitat design are available worldwide, yet PestBusters chooses to push fear and extermination instead. It is unacceptable for a company to profit from killing and to desensitise the public — including children — to violence against animals. Singapore can and must do better. Companies like this drag us backwards. Do not support cruelty disguised as “management.”

Madam Soleha was gentle, polite, patient and detailed when she did the audit. The report she wrote was comprehensive which helps us improve / maintain the environment for our clients.
