Hidden gem for anyone looking to chill before a flight or just escape the usual crowded nightlife spots. Tucked beside Hub & Spoke near Changi Airport T2, this place has a surprisingly fun and laid back vibe with live bands almost every night. The atmosphere feels somewhere between an alfresco bar and mini livehouse, especially when the crowd starts singing along to Mandopop and classic hits. Best part is definitely the music and ambience. Great spot for beers, casual gatherings, and even family or pet friendly hangouts during the day. Food is more bar bites standard than amazing, but honestly you come here more for the vibes than a foodie experience. Prices are on the higher side to be honest. Service was honestly quite poor as well. Staff are not attentive at all and forgot our orders/requests. This was quite a huge turn off. Love that it feels different from the usual Clarke Quay type bars. Open air, breezy, and very “east side hidden spot” energy. Just note that it is a bit tucked away near the airport carpark, so first timers may need a few extra minutes to find it. 

Like the atmosphere and live band but the food was kind of disappointing compared to when I visited previously. The mash potato that comes with the chicken chop was very salty. The beef with the nacho fries have a strong beef taste, fries a little overfried. Asked for water and waited more than 15mins to get a cup. And $2 will be charged for 2nd round of water 🤦🏻‍♀️

Visited Overflow Pub for dinner and drinks. Unfortunately, only the deep‑fried items were acceptable, and everything else we ordered was disappointing. The wagyu burger was especially bad. We requested medium, but it came out very tough and dry, and honestly didn’t feel like wagyu at all. The Hokkien noodles were extremely dry to the point where the noodles were sticking to the plate; I had to ask for extra chilli just to mix it in and make it slightly edible. The XO fried rice and aglio olio were also below standard. We placed our order around 8.45pm, but the wagyu burger and XO fried rice only arrived at 9.45pm, despite me walking to the kitchen twice to check on the order. To make matters worse, when the food was finally served, we were told there were no more forks. The staff were apologetic, which I appreciated, but the overall experience points to operational and management issues that need serious attention. On a positive note, the live band was good and likely the main reason the place gets crowded. If things don’t improve on the F&B side, I see this place remaining suitable only for drinks and live music. Not recommended for food or dinner. Not coming back unless I’m being invited because they changed. I initially thought I’ll be having a good time, hence the one tower of beer….

Overflow Bar near Changi Airport Connector Hub & Spoke is a lively East-side hangout known for its energetic live band performances. The music ranges from Mandopop to English classics, creating a fun, sing-along atmosphere that draws a cheerful crowd. It’s a great place to unwind after cycling at Hub & Spoke or a long day at work. Besides cold beers and drinks, the bar food is surprisingly good, with tasty finger bites and satisfying pasta options that are hearty and flavourful. The relaxed setting, friendly service, and upbeat vibes make it perfect for casual gatherings with friends.

This is a great live music venue and a lovely place for gatherings but it’s not a foodie’s paradise. The food is very ordinary and nothing special. I would say it’s hawker/coffeeshop western food standard. The prices of drinks are a little higher…. $8++ for a can of coke!
