Osaka Itami Airport 大阪国際空港 gave me a very pleasant travel experience. The airport staff were friendly and helpful, and the customs officers were very dedicated and professional. The whole process felt smooth and welcoming, which is quite different from what I’ve experienced with customs in Vietnam. It really made the departure and arrival feel comfortable and well-organized. The airport itself is clean and easy to move around, with a calm atmosphere that makes it enjoyable even though it’s not a very large international airport. One thing to note is that the food options are not as diverse as those at Hong Kong Airport, which has a much wider selection. However, the restaurants available still offer good quality and a nice meal before flying. Overall, Osaka Itami Airport was a great experience thanks to the friendly people and dedicated service. ✈️😊
Smaller airport that is easy to navigate and it's very clean of course. I am really writing in hope that ANA sees this and recognizes some employees who went above and beyond to help me. In short, on Monday 2/16/26 at 4pm the woman at the ANA desk between gates 9 and 10 saved me after my 3pm flight to Haneda had mechanical issues and returned to the gate about an hour after it was scheduled to leave. I absolutely had to get to Haneda by 6:30 and she made sure me and my wife were put on the 4:50pm flight and that our bags would make that new flight. The group of women who work at gate 10 for ANA also were instrumental in this happening. These two groups of employees were amazing and I wish I knew their names. If someone at ANA sees this please commend these employees and thank them for me!
Flew out from Itami Airport since I'm flying with ANA. Great and clean airport. It feels really spacious too. Have enough restaurants and omiyage area. Easy to travel to especially when using bus.
Osaka Itami Airport is great—very convenient with clear signage and finding my way to the domestic flight was super easy.
The airport is nice and clean Our flight was at 13:55, and we arrived at the airport at 10:30. We felt it was too early because we weren’t sure about the travel time from the hotel to Itami Airport, the road traffic situation, or how long baggage drop and check-in would take. The airport is not very big, but there are plenty of shops for shopping.
