Opus Bar and Grill

We dined at Opus Bar & Grill as part of our stay package at voco Orchard Singapore, where a complimentary three-course dinner was included. While the food was enjoyable, what truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service. A special shout-out to Tar, who took excellent care of us throughout the evening. She was attentive without being intrusive, regularly checking in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, promptly refilling our drinks, and making sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. What impressed us most was her genuine warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness. She made us feel welcomed and valued, turning what could have been a standard hotel dining experience into a memorable one. It is team members like Tar who create a positive dining experience and leave a lasting impression on guests. Thank you, Tar, and the entire Opus Bar & Grill team for the wonderful hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back—not only for the food, but also because of the outstanding service we received. Great food brings guests in once, but exceptional service brings them back again.

The buffet breakfast is fantastic. There are a wonderful variety of different region food stations to select from. Everything was nicely cooked and tasty. The chef's are very accommodating to please, cooking to order. Steven our host/maitre d' showed us around all the food choices on first arrival, and answered all our questions, and gave suggestions. He returned regularly to clear dirty plates/ utensils, and assist us. What a perfect start to the day.

Celebrated my birthday at Opus Bar & Grill (voco Orchard). The dining experience was superb! Staff were very friendly and patient when we asked for recommendation. The food served was true to the recommendation. Will definitely be back again! Thanks to Tar, Yogen, Joel 😊👍🏻

A quiet and wonderful place for dinner with food grilled to perfection. We ordered seafood platter, and because they ran out of lobster, they replaced it with an extra salmon and some prawns. On the platter were also scallops on their shell. We also ordered the least fattening beef on their menu, a flat iron steak. I was surprised it was not only grilled to perfection but also not tough. Accompanying the main dishes were two salads; Caesar and house salad with dressing on their menu side. I must say their salad and even beef dressings are fresh, interesting and tasty. Highlight of the day were the two desserts; strawberry rhubarb tart and jivara floral garden. The tart was an excellent collision of flavours, light, fruity and sweet tangy topped with edible flowers. The Valrhona choc lollipop gave a false impression of an ice cream as it was served in an ice cream stick. Visually expectation vs actual delivery made it a little disappointing as I did not read the dessert menu before hand. Nevertheless, the passion fruit balls lent a clear sour contrast to my heavy sweet dish and the edible flowers gave this dessert a pleasant end to the meal.

This is my family’s go to place for good steak and froie gras with good value. Easy to book for gatherings even on weekends. We love their generous servings of truffle fries, freshly shucked oysters and tried most of their dessert, all very nicely done, not too sweet with the right amount of rich flavour.
