O'ahu Ace Handyman Services

Our Oahu ACE Handyman was Guadalupe. Lupe was very professional and efficient. On his initial visit, listened intently as I described the work that was needed in my kitchen (demo and replacement of bottom shelf of the under-sink cabinets, reinforcement of the sides of the cabinet and reinforcement of the frame for the cabinet doors; reinstallation of cabinet doors and panel under sink; creation of three new kitchen cabinet doors, creation and installation of toe-kick under stove/range; repair or replacement of kitchen faucet due to a slow leak at the base of the faucet). There were several other items that we discussed, but the ones mentioned here were the ones actually worked on. The other items will be completed on subsequent visits. Lupe took extensive notes and described in detail the steps he would take and the materials that were needed to complete the work. He advised that he would submit his estimate immediately and that someone from the office would contact me with the details. A couple days later, I received an email from Tristen at the Oahu Ace Handyman office who provided a detailed scope of work for every task that needed done, including the estimated time, labor and materials required. Anna, from the office, called me to propose some dates that the work could be scheduled, and I confirmed which dates would work for me. This was followed promptly by email confirmations for each of the two dates. Each day prior to Lupe's scheduled visit, I received an auto text message from Ace advising that Lupe would call the night before each visit to confirm his arrival time the following day. I also received texts on the days of each appointment advising that Lupe was on his way. When Lupe arrived to do the work, he explained clearly what he was going to do and reviewed all the materials he had purchased. During the work, he encountered a couple issues that weren’t expected and quickly found solutions. He is definitely a problem-solver and was flexible in adjusting his plan of action to get the tasks done. Lupe also has excellent customer service skills and a pleasant and friendly demeanor. He has a can-do attitude and is enthusiastic about his work. Overall, the service was professional, timely, and high quality. I have some other miscellaneous tasks that need completed around the house, and I will definitely use Oahu Ace Handyman Services again! Needed to get my floors repaired following some water damage. Lupe was great at communicating clearly so that I knew what to expect at every step of the project. He was very detail oriented to make sure to get everything back in place as best he could. Really appreciate the attention to detail and the great communication. I would highly recommend Lupe for any household handyman services!

The whole experience with Ace Handyman services was great! They responded quickly, scheduled quickly and we were really pleased with the work. Michael did an amazing job! After many years of continual use, our bathroom shower floor had become dull and in need of refreshing. Some of the tiles had built up soap scum, and the grouting had dulled and in some areas was chipped or missing. We decided to call Oahu Ace Handyman Services to make the repairs, and we're so glad we did! Tosha was the technician who came out. She was great! Tosha was able to remove the soap scum that we had tried unsuccessfully to do in the past. It was a slow and tedious job of scrapping and scrubbing but Tosha did a great job and was able to clean the tiles so that they now look new! She also advised us of the various color options we could use for the regrouting, and in the end we went with the light gray color she recommended. The light gray grouting was perfect and compliments the flooring and the tiles so well. We are so happy with our refreshed shower tile flooring! Thank you, Tosha, for a job well done! We will certainly call Oahu Ace Handyman Services again should we need other repairs to be made!

Anna was able to get Michael Tillman to put together a sideboard cabinet for my bedroom. He was very pleasant and was able to finish the job and to put it into my bedroom. He was was very efficient and I highly recommend him. Mahalo, Mike.
